Got to turn round and play again on Thursday - a win's a win.

May have a point there mate, part time players playing at the intensity we are week in, week out surely would take something out of them. TBH i think it would have been a good oppurtunity to rest some players for the Hunslet and York games to keep them fresh and on top form.

Having said that, maybe York is just a bit of a bogey ground for us and we have got yet another win under our belts so maybe we are just reading too much into it.

I'm just glad I didn't waste my time and money going there.

Take the win after what must have been an unsettling week, now lets move on.

I am thankful we have played most of the top teams already this season otherwise we might struggle even more!

started with a different line up:-

Nash and Thornley starting props with Hill and Mills on bench....... Govin starting at LF........ Duffy goin off injured, no Taylor BUT think we will be back to normal on Thursday against Fax.

Pretty dismal performance defensively but credit to York and trying not to read too much in to our performance given the changes to the line up etc.

Hope so. We can't afford to defend like that against 'Fax - they'll think it's Christmas. Some of the players looked to be just going through the motions. IM did 'rest' some of the pack - the starting line-up in the forwards was: - Thornley, Duffy, Nash, Littler, Higson & Govin. That said, Mills, Hill & Goulden were on the bench.

Any away win in this league is a good one , not quite on the pace today and York had two good quality HB s out there with a bit of pace down the wings

Bring on Fax , it should be a cracker

I am more concerned about how Duffs Govin and Rhys are rather than talk about a defence that concedes 6 points in injury time in the first half and then 12 more in second half injury time.

Fair play to York who showed some nice touches especially in the backs.

Was asked to post by some of their fans AND OURS that it would be a good idea if some Leythers stopped chanting bad language.

It was once again a good following from Leigh , although the arrangements for the coach could have been better , they shoved it almost half a bloody mile away , when there was loads of space literally 50 yards from the main stand

Well swear words at matches do not bother me. All I am doing is keeping my word with people who asked me to post it.

We seem to be getting a recurring theme here frank , just like your good self I also like a beer or three before and during a match , however it seems that some are arriving earlier and earlier , perhaps drinking more and more , and then when maybe the match gets a bit ' boring ' possibly because of our relative success , they turn there vocal support towards the home fans rather than just supporting our team , this then usually results in insults being thrown back and the level of ' abuse ' increasing to the point where it upsets people or shall we say becomes ' personal '

It is not what we want

I was right where the stewards came into the crowd and whilst also pointing out that the chuckle brothers were swaering as well, I then tried to get our lads doing the chanting to tone it down a bit so that we didn't tarnish our reputation further. All took it on board apart from one individual who was clearly leathered who started giving me a load of stick. Fair do's to his mates though they did try to calm him down.

How come Blythe didn't play?

he wasn't training on Thursday either
