I spoke to a past Wigan chairman today ,and he speaks nothing but praise for Leigh ,and is dumbfounded at Leneghans attitude towards us ,he said it was so petty on Wgans side ,and how Wigan should always try to help Leigh,to me he was so right but cant see it happening this Leneghan guy seems very Childish, towards Leigh.

Was is it with Wigan, they don't loan us any players (mind you it's only the last 2 years they've had a decent team - recently) and they agreed to 3 friendlies at the LSV.

This is Leyth and Wigan not Persia/Iran take your pick. More likely no-one bought Lenaghan a savaloy when we beat Wigan's strongest side for our last friendly and he was not happy at our clubs quite obvious response to the side they sent which he reneged on !

I think we told them where to go when they said they'd be sending an academy side again for the third friendly.

And I'm not sure Basil will get on terribly well with the powers that be after his time at Wigan which is probably why they send their players elsewhere, especially when ex-Wigan players Betts and Wright coaching in this league.

To be honest Frank I'm not sure how much we'd have made if we played Wigan's first team three years in a row - best playing them alternate years at the most so the previous occasions thrashing is out of the memory (for them of course rather than us!)
