After going to the 3 friendly game's and shelling out £42's on tickets.
Following today's poor turnout why dont the club try to promote the two home NRC games against Swinton and Sheffield with a ticket offer. Something like two game's for £20, with concession's two for £10. That way we may attract a better crowd and who know's maybe some of the super league fans who are not travelling to Cardiff.

They certainly are.

Not everyone has a season ticket.

I've got a ST and I still think the club should promo games and change prices to get bums on seats. I think the club should target the U16s, bring a parent for a fiver etc.

I haven't missed a home game for four seasons. This season due to work and costs I haven't renewed my season ticket. I will be picking and choosing my games starting with the NRC games. I won't bother with the Swinton game and will make a descision on the Sheffield game closer to the date. Would a reduced price entice me to watch them? Probably not the Swinton game (unless they made it a fiver), but maybe the Sheffield game.

But who would pay the shortfall to the LSV for rent, stewards etc?

I think the ST holders should pay for this burden, afterall they`ve gained a greater financial reward than those choosing not to watch certain games.

Fairly sure the ' fixed ' costs wouldn't change if there is an offer or not

What bugs me is unless we get more through the gate we are a club going only one way.

Non Relegation league this season bottom four clubs ? Well at the risk of giving offence one will be based in London one in Wales one in France. The other one well I shall be at the Willows Friday.

Now the clubs in the Championship at least 6 could win the title.

We have to rebuild the fan base quickly, the fact we have nothing to play for in the eyes of many plus the LSV stupidity refn ticketing plus the lack of initiative when we moved plus the shortage of spare cash for many plus the lack of atmosphere means we have to work hard on an area we have neglected and seem devoid of ideas on how to change things.

£20 for 2 games, £40 family ticket for 2 games and free under 12's with an adult gets my support as a season ticket holder

I'm affraid in this day and age the only thing that will get more people through the doors is success. One other thing is when I used to miss Leigh games through having no money and I heard the roar of the crowd and the singing it used to make me want to be inside amongst the atmosphere. It's not the noisiest of places the LSV so lets start getting vocal again this year. Make people walking past or within ear shot of the LSV want to be inside there.

Dont know if the club/lsv already do this but i'd give out hundreds of tickets at schools stating free entry for children if acompanied by one adult paying £12 or two adults paying £20,sitting or standing optional.

I think if you just offer adults reduced priced tickets you could upset a lot off ST holders and seeing as the club have just done a great offer on ST this season in an attempt to increase sales of ST's,i dont think that would be wise.

With the ST offer you get the equivalent of just over 4 games free I think. So even if you miss a third of our games this year you would still have saved money.

And that's summat only the fans can change. We try our best in the North Stand and I think the flags, scarves etc help things along for new folk inside the ground, but maybe things need to move on to the next stage to make it an enjoyable afternoon, regardless of the scoreline.

Although I have got a ST i can completley understand your point of view, its not a dig at anyone but do the club actually look into this sort of thing and ask the question why people don't go who used to etc?

For those worried about the crowd yesterday....Saints attracted a whopping 1,258 to the Smog Arena for tonight's play-off semi final replay!

I dont see anything wrong with the third friendly in a month getting a gate of 1000 plus, good effort and based off performances and attendances pre season I think we are in a good position to start the season with a 2K+ average

I can see Saints average being way down, firstly due to being in Widnes and secondly the cost of ground entry (£25/£26 for N and S Stands

It's only £18.50 if buying in advance for the stand behind the sticks, but even then the 'home' end is the smaller East Stand!
