Big Sam preferring for them to train outside rather than indoors at their own training facilities, outside pitches frozen.

So do we see this as a threat? or could this be an opportunity to try and establish a working partnership with them, should we be inviting their owners/players to matches, etc?

Whether they are a threat depends on whether it is part of a greater plan to advertise more in the area and start working in the schools etc. In terms of how we can benefit, I think it'd certainly be a good idea to invite Allardyce and/or a couple of board members to sample hospitality at the Salford game.

Any relationships we can foster is a good thing. Footy couldn't be bigger than it is. Whatever Blackburn do in Leyth, they are competing with Bolton, City, United and Liverpool to share the pie of footy fans, not to make their game bigger and higher-profile. We, on the other hand, might attract more publicity, fans and money. Go for it.

Dont forget, they will PAY the LSV for the privilidge.

We should be prepared to learn from anyone, they are one of only a handful of clubs to win the Premiership, they are (in football terms) a relatively small fish swimming in the big boys pond, I'm sure that's something we should be trying to do.

Pains me to say it but t'Roverrrs are exactly what Leigh RL should be aiming for.
