I have recently mentioned the possible return of the weekly Forecast Competition which was so successful over the years I ran it in the past. It was and always has been priced at £1 per entry per week ever since I first ran it at Rylands Sharks in 1998 or 1999.
If you haven't seen it before, an example of the comp is here:-

I would just like to ask what people think about whether the cost should rise (and what to) or whether it should remain at a £1. At the £1 entry fee I would expect to raise between £60 and £120 per week for LISA/The Club. You can do the other calculations yourselves 
Also if anyone is willing to commit to helping me for the FULL season could you PM me some contact details so that I can contact you, probably early in the new year.
Ideas for collection points etc are also welcome. Any shop owners, pub landlords/ladies willing to help would also be welcomed.

£1 sounds safe & whilst having the option to buy more than one then if money is abit tight one week for some it may still be affordable

I have also had a PM which contained the name of one local establishment who will be willing to sell and collect the coupons, both through the week and pre-match. If anyone knows of places who may be willing, let me know or approach them on my behalf to ask them. If anyone has any questions, ask on here or ring me using the phone number which is on the bottom of the sample coupon here

| At the moment without the fixtures all its difficult. Generally I only used Sunday games, so if there was less than 7 games, I didn't run it.
From memory (as I have had 2 years off) the last one I did ran for 27 weeks I think. I will know better once the fixtures are out. Then I also have to decide do I let 2 weeks of the NRC go by before starting it or just pile straight in with people perhaps not knowing the form of some of the teams. Then theres the Thursday games to remove from the Sunday schedules!! Remind me again why I'm doing this |

I think £1 would be best to be honest. I always buy a half time draw ticket as well. £2isn't too bad, but £3 is starting to stretch it a bit.
Derek, why not try to sell advertising space on the coupns. I know its to a very small audience, but quite a focused audience. You probably wouldn't get much, but better than nothing and doesn't really cost you anything. More local shops may be willing to help if they had a mention.
