Won't be doing the full walk on Sunday unfortunately, would have liked to (even though I'm a Wire lad!), but due to Sunday buses the earliest I could get from Warrington to Leigh would be 10.

I'm hoping to join my mate and everyone else half way along (Burtonwood area), has anyone any idea which route you'll be taking?

Been to quite a few Leigh home and away matches this year, normally get forced to wear a Leigh shirt. Might put a Warrington shirt on seeing as it's widnes though!

Just a little thought does anybody know if there is any toilet facilaties on this route and I don't meam behind a tree.

there's the same toilet facilities as on the coach to Fev " John meet bucket" "Bucket meet John"

The Pub !!

Was going to say I remember the walk some of us did for Knotty when we walked to Wire game , we had plenty of toilet stops , whoops I mean pub breaks , think we went in 4 or 5 pubs on the walk there

Yes and I deffo didn't have enough boose in them to numb the sore toe I got that still plays me up to this day



IIRC we made plenty money in them pubs too, one lot of staff gave us their tips

Hope the weather is kind, and everyone has a laugh like we did, and met some lovely people too
