Correction: Just caught the second half online. Leigh were rubbish and Batley out played them. I'm surprised. I thought Leigh would have been able to win at home with that side. Very disappointing.

Batley's defence was outstanding. When they did have the ball, they looked most dangerous. When we had possession, we never looked like scoring. Very disappointing but all credit to Batley.

Can't argue about Batley's defence S-L , but Leigh made it easy for them by being so one dimensional and predicable.

Batley were the better team. I wish them well in the final, a pair of decent halfbacks, some finishing power from the likes of Maun and some good grunt players, plus they wanted it more.

But after the "we were tired" stuff after losing to us and "too many players out - it'll be different thursday" mantra coming out after your defeat v Batley on SUnday, I can see why Spener might just be waiting for this weeks excuse.
How refreshing it didn't come and a more a less a universal acknowledgement from Leigh fans that you were crap last night.
