Come on guys, i Know that a lot of people have put themselves down for the walk but we need the magical hundred, i dunno how far off 100 we are, but if there's anyone reading this then please register and do the walk, Get some money raised, walk to Widnes, have a laugh with everyone walking and then get to Widnes for the match. There is transport back from the match, Trafalgar have put a coach on. If anyone is reading this caught in 2 minds then register. It's only one sunday morning.

No worries Jonny, can't get round work, some people just aren't getting behind the idea though, that's the annoying bit because there'll be some poeple saying we need to sign players but there's no money but they'll be the one's not doing the work. I bet a lot have got genuine reasons but its the ones who only ever moan and do nothing.

I can't do the walk for personal reasons but I am sponsoring as are all the lads I go to matches with. A couple are doing the walk of course and I shall time them and work out how much more it would have cost the rest of us for the beer they would have had in our company during the time of the walk and will then add that to the pot too.

I`ll sponsor someone £20 and give it to Fred next time I collect a dvd any takers.

My friend and I have raised 200 pounds each so far, if we can do another 100 pound each thats like 6 people walking. We have found it very easy to get sponsors we just dont take no for an answer and we have got 5 weeks to go yet.We are looking forward to a good day out, one of our friends who is a runner has give us a good tip to stop you getting blisters, put a little vasalene on your toes, so if you need any we will have a tub the size of a tin of paint. Plenty to go round.

I think you are mistaken there Greg!! None of us Leythers would be hypocritical enough to slate the 'umbles for doing 'The Walk'.....then sloping off themselves with ten minutes to go - it just wouldn't happen!!



I can safely say that anyone you may have seen leaving early was not what I'd class as a Leigh fan.....so they don't count!!!

Then again we could always just do a Fax and a bucket collection instead of the walk

..are we 'going bust' dick ??? They didn't just have a bucket collection though did they, they asked fans of all RL clubs to help them, then the following year bought up all the half backs in the country with the proceeds

me my daughter my sister in law and my nephew are doing it and raised nearly 350 so far cant wait hope its a dry day apart from wat goes down the throught lol
