Well after just watching the first game of 'Millenium Magic' there's one thing for sure, Bradford Bulls are beatable!!
They looked absoloutely knackered from the start, countless knock ons, and Orford went off injured (hope he's rested for us)
Think the game being played on Friday is a bit of a blessing aswell giving them a couple less days to recover.
Yesterday I thought we had no chance of progressing but after seeing that, there is some chance after all


With a 1000 fans, and a good game plan, they're there for the taking!!

Bradford will be at home, too big, too strong and too quick for our team minus the DC's, Nash, Hartley, Alstead.
Lets hope for a decent 20 in each half and to lose by less than 36.

These things may count in your favour but will only help to keep the score respectable.

As much as I would love to think otherwise, Bradford will win convincingly.

I'll be happy with a 30 point difference, any thing better that is a bonus. A win isn't completely off the cards, but if I was a gambling man then it would take immense odds for me to consider throwing even a quid away!

Sorry, there's no way I can go into a game hoping to lose by 35!!

We'll have to play out of our skin but it might be closer than people think. Bradford aren't as good as Warrington and Featherstone only lost by abour 20 to them in the last round so I think we've half a chance if we perform to our utmost.

If Leigh get within 20, it will have been an outstanding performance. Anyone who thinks we will win needs to lay off the booze.

But - as Mo has just pointed out SL v Championship = SL win, so it's a forgone conclusion!!

It would be a hell of a shock - especially as we will have to play without the "DR4" - but it is not impossible. A winning mentality, and self belief count for a lot - and a coach with a bit of tactical nous helps as well. Add to that a large contingent of very vocal Leythers, and you just never know!!!

And we have already won a Superdooper team this year - remember - so why not again??

My view and approach to these games is no chance as gulf between them is too much. But once hooter goes we just get behind every tackle and run we make and keep pushing them on until the end.

And another thing.

I was at York earlier this season who would have predicted our display that day. Following week Leigh 36 Featherstone 6.

i think its going to be a very hard friday for the boys.

It's just 13 blokes coming up against another 13 - once that hooter goes, you never know.

i would love you to be right matt you know that but this is a top six SL team who can beat anyone on there day which they've proved already this season.

this is just a massive ask for the boys.

No denying that it's a huge task, but this game does some funny things sometimes.

I think you'll go alright for the 1st 40, then fitness will come in and they'll pull away in the 2nd
