Where is Adam Higson? I absolutely cannot believe that he is not in the 18 man squad tommorow. The four dual players are not involved and he is still not on. Incredible! If he is unavailable for selection then fair enough, but if he is not selected by choice, then I am extremely disappointed by this decision and I fear that it is looking ominous for him at Leigh. If he cannot even get in tomorrow, it is not looking good.

if A.J.is fit and he hasn't been selected then if I was Ian Millward I would keep well out of Adams Grandma's way.

I am also confused to why Higson is not in the squad tomorrow surely he has picked up a knock but if not then it's not looking good for him

At least Stanton & Riddy can hopefully show Millward wot they can do tomorrow.

Has he the attitude to learn and fight for a spot?, if so we will see him soon, if not then he is history.
Personally I hope he has, Millward can make him, if he wants it enough.

Difficult choice. I am a Mort and an Ainscough fan, but I personally feel that Higson has done more than either of these to justify a place in an 18 man squad. As I said , the fact that the duals are not involved and I could not see Duffy's name involved, even with these players missing, if you still cannot even get in the first 18, then it is not looking good. Really happy with the way Leigh are going this season of course, but must admit find Higson's exclusion a puzzle and a worry. I have no idea as to the attitude Higson is showing in training. I only go to all the games, so can only judge based on on field performances. If there is more to it than that I have no idea, but would certainly have expected to see Higson in on Sunday.

I am not saying AJ has an attitude problem, I am saying he must display the correct attitude to meet his potential. Riddy demonstrated agreat attitude in the boardroom pre Barrow game.

You have to be given a chance to fight for your place! Obviously Adams face does not fit. So he won't get that chance!
For me AJ is one of our better players, who never takes a backward step and does not deserve to be treated this way.
I hope he will get the chance he deserves, but I cant see it.

The only reason the dc players aren't featuring though is to ensure they don't get cup tied as Basil said it wouldn't be fair to them if they have a chance of reaching the final with Wire.

He might change his tune if we draw an SL team in the next round and Wire don't need them for their 17 lol

Let's hope Adams just got a knock as he certainly has the enthusiasm when ever he's on the field and adds some oomph to the team! Always gives 110% that's for sure!

im sure if the [uCOACH[/u of Leigh Centurions thinks he's good enough when he's fit then im sure he will pick him!

in the mean time im personally very happy with the way things are going.

You haven't seen the end of Adam. A lad that shows so much on the field does not just fizzle away like that.

Update: Adam failed a fitness test, due to a pulled hamstring in training.

agreed, Lee Mitchell SUPERB, & Tyrone McCarthy GOOD as for the rest OK, nothing special. Jacob plays because we're short of big 'uns, but Matty Blythe ?

shes lovely real nice lady andf IMHO Adam is a great prospect

bit harsh on matty blythe there mate in the couple of games i have seen him he looks a good prospect with a good turn of pace and knows how and when to pass to his winger + i heard hes been playing second row for wire reserves so he may need time to settle to the centre role

IMO he's as good as we've got and can only get better with more game time for us! (Blythe)

Higson picks up to many injuries however, when he does play he shows great comitment. Not sure about Blythe, perhaps he needs more time? I for one am willing to reserve judgement.

Blythe is not spectacular but is a solid player for us.
