I have phoned 4 times now and have spent over 30 minutes waiting to talk to someone to buy a ticket for the 4 Nations Final on Saturday.

All I get is a machine telling me to press whatever number to buy a ticket. You press an option then get another talking machine message asking you to select other options. Whatever you do a machine voice then tells you to press another option to hear the message again or the message wil be terminated.

I could book online but that way I can,t get a seat where I want to be.

This is very frustrating not to mention annoying.

Any suggestions ?

I must admit I think the RFL should be providing a better service than this.

My suggestion is don't support the RFL simples

get down to TESCO buy a load of beer and Watch it on the 'telly' Frank, you know it makes sense.

Ive never actualy tried this. I read somewhere that on certain voice message things where you have to press a number, if you leave it and don't press anything it takes you through to a 'human' voice because it thinks you have an old fashioned phone with out buttons (cant remember what there called

). But like i said ive never tried it, but it could be worth a try.

i bought mine along with the eng v aus and eng v nz game some months back, so i had no problem, don't support the rfl, what, your supporting your country at the sport we all claim to love, i'd urge every rl fan to get down to elland rd if at all possible.

...and how much of that money goes back into SL clubs coffers, or alternatively, does any of it make its way back into the Championship clubs coffers

The more successful the Internationals are the more money there will be available to support the Championships

If the RFL decide to spend it on the championships of course , and then if they actually spend it on something useful rather than the Blackpool 9's or making the owners of Easyjet and Ryanair richer

Frank try phoning later in the evening,ticketmaster take over the reigns from the rfl after 6pm and you should find it easier to get through, we are going to the game that u cannot miss and staying over night in Leeds.

The RFL ticket line apparently opens at 9am but seems noone is there between 9am and 9-30am.
I think the staff just turn up when they like. Perhaps the staff didn,t think they,d be busy this week or just can,t be bothered doing what they are paid for.

I wouldn,t be surprised if Richard Lewis knew there WAS an RFL ticket line where his staff can turn up when they feel like it.

Put your principles to one side for a weekend and get behind our national side. The fact if we win this one (big if but you never know) would be good for English RL. A packed noisy colourful Elland Road live on t'box beating the Aussies - well you can't buy that kind of a boost to the game.
By the way none of that money from intl's should go direct to any 1 dimensional Pro club whether in SL or the Championship.

Just booked mine online SE3. You can book a seat near to some one else on line. There is a bit for " look for nearest seat" when you are buying. I'm going in the car and there will be two spare seats. I will be passing Worsley roundabout between 5.15 and 5.30 if anyone needs a lift.

I see that £1 of the ticket price plus 28p from the tax man goes to the players benevolent fund which is a good enough reason for me to buy the ticket.

But it isn't OUR national team its SuperLeagues, Rugby League is my sport and until SuperLeague embraces it again they wont be getting any of my money.

Spot on. The RFL treat it as two sports. By jove I've got it, thats what they meant by expansion, turning one sport into two. Expansion is officially a success
