IF we have the money to sign Basil, then we have it to save us and dont say salary cap as at least 4 other teams dont seem to stick to it.

We have but you have to find clubs willing to release players and players willing to come. At this time of year it is very difficult.

Even if they arent it stil counts

Oh i see, that old chesnut. Everyone gets away with it except Leigh. We've pretty much got the same squad as last year and have signed NO players during the season. We only have one on loan so where do you get that rubbish from. Especially as the salary cap is live this year, you can't sign anyone without proving you can afford them under the salary cap!!!

Hopefully Hemmingway will help you out over these last 8 games and keep you up as the league will be better for leigh being in it.

Is this because we went for good signings and you didn't. So we must have broke the salary cap?? It's not our fault you didn't get anyone good. We've got th same squad more or less as last year. I feel your pain!!

We only have 23 players and 1 loanee in Matt James. Not exactly a massive squad. I guess you feel we're paying super league money, but i'm sure the RFL would be on top of us if we were outside the salary cap.

coaches salaries do not count under salary cap rules, what other club do or dont is up to them we are examined by the rfl on a regular basis more so than others as we have been 'done' once, I can just see the scorn by some on here if they were 'done' again.
