Sam Reay and Hobson are not good enough for this comp. Hobsons defence tonight was rubbish.
It has got to be time for us to see Donlan at full back and maybe Mort to 6.
Taylor is all for trying but if he is to make to the front row he has got to stop half turning in the tackle and being put on his back, if he is going to turn at least look for the offload.
I thought Rudd did ok tonight as did Stanton. There where plenty Watson knockers around me but i thought he also did ok.
Its good to see Smith back playing, looks like hes had a 3 month holiday, i bet Durbin is so jealous of his tan.

I just think the self distruct button was pressed as soon as Hobbo knocked on ,for some reason they started to play panic rugby for most of second half then started playing again in last 10 mins .Thought Stanton was very good and Rudd, Stanton is like an express train so why dont they kick the ball through for him to chase more before the fullback has fallen back because he could outrun anyone on that pitch tonight he is Billy whizz

Armistead had a good game too and Morty . I do feel for the young lads cos they play their hearts out but not getting the result, it cant be doing their confidence any good. They also need to be allowed some pratice time on the pitch otherwise its never going to feel like a home match for them at the moment we have no home advantage.

Hobson should go before he suffers too much embarassment, I dont think he has made a dozen first in tackles all year, he simply ups the workload on the others.
Rudd, NK hates him, he runs the lines and tackles for fun.

If NK hates Rudd i dont understand it what is there not to like as i thought he played really well ,him and Stanton on the wing good combo.

Why was our 1st try ruled out ( i thought the movement close to the line was excelent ) ????, that team today showed some great signs played some good fast stuff but, we either gifted Fev field position in giving away penalties or the one eyed excuse for a professional rugby league reff marched them down to our line , i think only 1 or 2 of Fevs trys came from open play where they worked their own way down field . Cut the penalties out and we will win more than we lose

major reality check needed...fev where in second gear going through the motions for the last 20 mins until they needed to score to prevent the bonus point.

Just watched game again,should have been leading by 12 points in 1st half,we dont take our chances.Did not get the rub of the green in the second half,Hobson is doing nothing,we should still have got a bonus point out of it.How can the ref not give a high tackle for hit on Donlan is beyond me.

Hobson knocking on from the kick off gave them the momentum in the 2nd half, sack him off, hes a bag of fat.

oh right , cheers , i was expecting a hammering tonight and was surprised to see that at times we did have effort , skill and a chance of winning , but most of the 1st half was 2 teams playing 1 out rugby ,why, i have no idea. If we cut the penalties out perhaps we can see more of the play that led to the trys, and yeh it has to be the least skilled/ most frustrating team i have ever seen wear the leigh colours

for me we look uninterested at times slow and lacking ideas in attack, for me Rudd and stanton are a must from now on, they both ripped there opponants to shreds at times.
Reckon well win against Widnes, there hairdrying he gave them at fulltime was so bad, not one person attempted to enter the dressing room until he'd finished!!!

Durbin was 'scooting', in the friendlies. He is good at it, as well as moving the team forward, in my opinion. It's almost as though he has been told "Jock scoots and then you go on and just pass the ball - varying our 'tactics'!"

There have been a lot of comments about the ref. He only gave six penalties against us. That is very low, for us. granted, the opposition usually makes us pay, when we do concede one. For me, you just can't keep dropping the ball in your own '20' - it's almost a gift six points.

For me, our major problem is that we can't score. Only three teams have scored less than us, and two of them have played two games less!

We started to go downhill when Jock was subbed, Durbin is a HALFBACK not a distributor, we picked up again when Jock came back on, was he injured?

Rudd had an excellent game and runs some cracking lines. Stanton did well and Watson did everything positive on the attacking note. It really worries me if Watson is injured as there is no back up at all !



Reay needs replacing, Donlan to FB and Mort to Wing.

I thought our pack was shocking, which is a shame compared to the sterling performance against Widnes!

Hobson has a new nickname on the terraces...."liability" and he does a great job of living up to it 8 points again on thurs?? not good enough doesnt channel his aggresion in the right way (and he has a lot of aggression.)
