I’ve never really been a Ben R fan, but I’m prepared to give him a chance to show us he has improved, and is ready to give his all for the Leigh cause, hopefully he and Ryan can forge a half back partnership, to give us a thrilling end to the season,cmon Leythers give the lad a chance.

Sign Danny Craven for halfback and I promise you I won’t ! We are signing players I have never been impressed with ! When Gregg, Riddy, Patterson and Hood came back I was delighted these are MY kind of players !

Charlie , I don’t think it’s about give Reynolds a chance, I’d like to hear what prompted Chris Chester to sign him and, why has he released him after only a handful of games ?

Maybe if we'd signed 'world beater' Danny Yates from Batley, you might actually have typed something 'positive' about the club !

Danny likes to keep his options open although your signing of Reynolds maybe suggests that he has told Leigh he will be elsewhere next season?

Another backward step. Can he open up a defence like Craven-I think not!! Where is the pace in this side? Get a young fast lad in like Matty Ashton.

Agreed, we have cart horses, and halves without creativity. Next season in the championship, we need to look at addressing this.

How on earth can we moan about the current side and who we have signed ?

The players recently brought in haven't got us to where we are now. I agree we had to do something,so for me it would/should have been an end of the season contract (If possible) for these latest recruitments,and then have another look then. Like it has been mentioned earlier,there are other players in Holroyd,Higginson,Cox etc who should have been given a chance. After all, SL is meant to be the goal next year.

Wouldn't surprise me. Though the flip side to that is Reynolds is the only half we have signed up for next year so far.

Not at all.

However Widnes going to Wembley did throw a spanner in the works for Danny Craven being in a Leigh shirt THIS season.

No the signing of Reynolds is because Wigan have told Leigh they need Josh Woods out on a 12 month loan at a SL club next year. Woods will most likely be at Wakefield next season if they manage to avoid the drop.

Makes me laugh when people keep saying why have we signed this player and that player when this team have got us in top 5.....having 4 and 5 saints players have helped get us in top 5 and without the dr we would have been in the bottom half of the league.The club have brought players in in the areas were we use saints players because what would we do if saints didn't give us players certain weeks of the play offs

Harold, I respect your opinion as always,but I didn’t agree then and don’t now, I’m sure most Championship Clubs would snatch yer hand off if offered Ryan and Ben to them as Halves.

Let’s see what they can do, Riddy obviously isn’t fit,and if Josh Woods is still injured hopefully Ryan and Ben will blossom.

Like most Leigh sides in the past 40 years, we just need a fast Prop and a big Winger !! LOL!!!

Reynolds tries his socks off and even though he is at times very frustrating to watch, is more than capable player in this division.
