- Key positions in the spine of the team need bolstering. (full back, half back, hooker)
- Forwards look aggressive and young - should prove more durable than 2017.
- Only the possibility of one Leigh-born player in the squad - Higham - and his presence is probably now at risk! Here's hoping that the new boys can gain the pride in
the shirt, that the local lads had.
All in all an exciting squad, that still needs strengthening in key areas. |

So they have. You know, I heard young Drew's name mentioned a few weeks ago but never took it seriously or believed we could pull it off.
This lad is very higly rated. Australia U18s, New South Wales U20s skipper V Quuensland U20s. He could well prove to be the real deal. Well done all at Leigh. |

Would agree with this!! Any news on Mitch brown? Would give us a versatile full back. would love the hooker to be Higham along side Mortimer and Cunningham for back up/rotation, but somehow I don’t see that. More than a few spaces to fill yet yet but so far I think where doing much better than we all expected |
