I dont like it but I rarely like our home shirts if I'm honest.

Anyone know what colour the away shirt is this season? They get released far too late, they should both be done, not sure why the home when always gets done first.

Surely they would be better off just donating the money. Whats the point of buying a shirt that I am never going to wear?

I don't think it's too bad but I don't buy the shirts anyway. Much rather buy a t-shirt or polo shirt that I can wear more often instead of something I'd only wear on a match day.

Would any bloke ofer 30 ever wear a printed polyester bag, wtf has happened to a decent cotton shirt. The most worn rugby shirt I have seen was the RU Lions red cotton one. Also like the GB lions classic ones.

I'll see if I can get a price for a cotton polo/short sleeved replica shirt with the coat of arms on and donate all profits back to the club.

Off topic, I was going through some of my late dads Leigh RL stuff the other night - his chrimbo pressie was always a ST and a polo/fleece/coat. We used to sell some decent tackle until O'Neills came along.

Not a fan on first view, looks cheap and tacky.

Can see both sides of the argument.
Coaching team will want white thinking the psychology will make them look big to the opposition (IMO that lasts though for a few tackles - if our players aren't big enough they will be found out in minutes - and targetted , white shirt or not).

From the clubs point though it needs fans to buy them, knocking out a shirt that is white with emphasis on the stomach area will appeal to a minority as it will make most people look 1 stone heavier !

Hopefully the common ground will be found with the away kit, it needs to be dark coloured / black and look smart for us to make a few quid on shirt merchandise sales.

Shirts a shocker, some kind of 80's retro nightmare.. I support the club in lots of ways, but their are limits and wearing that is one of them....

you just can't please soem people, they would moan no matter the design of the shirt, for what its worth, i like it and me and my dad have boughgt one, that's 90 quid to the club, maybe if people stopped moaning and got their hands in their pockets we could then raise more money, and hopfully not be in a position we have been in recently, also pleased weare having a range of leisurewear, polo/t shirts and a one of special shirt for the charity match. Maybe all the budding designers could do some drawings for that shirt.

Steve, would you buy one even if you didn't like it though, in my opinion it's not fair to ask someone to buy something they don't like, which at £45 let's be honest isn't cheap, not having a go at you mate, just a question.

Imust admit its not a bad shirt , but im showing my Age now , i prefer polo shirts , they match my Red nose , Bowler Hat , and Pointed shoes.

I personally don't like it it looks cheap and nasty so I won't be asking Mr Clause for one anytime soon . I'll have to see what the away shirt looks like as they've been decent this last few years .

Sorry mate I disagree with you on this, I think O'Neills have been really good for us. Apart from last years home kit I think every kits been decent. 2010 home kit and last years away kit were class.

On the gear, i've got a Leigh East waterproof and a polo top that have lasted me ages and they get hammered with me mountain biking, they're as good as new.

Which Tom has designed this sh@t top ? Absolutely ridiculous stick with a kit designer if this is how they turn out
