I was 3rd in queue, about 20 behind me & cars turning up all the time.
Ticket office staff had been in a meeting, hadn't even heard about it until late last night & stated no plan in place.

At least 2 of us couldn't get back to LSV again today due to work, the concern is that we might not get in the North Stand. You can't even buy a ticket for this game now & over 200 already have (refunds probably).

Still, it is a great idea to try & gain more fans if the new attendees enjoy the occasion & return, just poorly or even not planned.

Bought my Leeds ticket while I was there so not a complete waste of time.

Hopefully it’ll get sorted sooner than later, I’d doubt that the ticket office is the main concern I’d guess it’ll be a variety of other LSV issues

Will it have to be reserved seating?

Do LSV have the man power to open all sides/bars at relatively short notice?

Will enough stewards be available?

What about tickets already sold?

Great gesture and a brilliant way of getting a database of potential fans for next season before a ball is kicked.
Hopefully all remaining merchandise will be on sale and forms for season tickets for next season available to hand out to people 'caught up' in what's happening.
Would have probably put in measures to ensure those who have attended all season don't miss out on the usual spot/seat(ie: moved from the North to the South stand)so maybe a buying 'previous history' sale on Tuesday and then general giveaway of 'remaining' tickets from Wednesday to Friday, might make it more manageable for the ticket staff as well.
Either way it will be a brilliant day and fitting send off to the lads who have worked so hard to get us up to see a busy LSV cheering them on.

Quite the gesture, be good to see the East stand full and those there blinded if the sun shines...

There is an obvious logic to how tickets, I hope to go down tomorrow to get some for all the fair-weathers I know.

Just a shame our food isn't as good as that at Batley (something I'll honestly miss).

Deeks,I agree I like the Batley burgers, but the pies at the LSV are pretty good , I went to watch Salford v Fev yesterday and the pies at the AJ Bell Stadium are terrible.Though Frank did say the Red Wine was decent.

You could be there a while as it is also a good marketing exercise as they will be asking for details. Make sure you take all their details with you. See if you can turn these fair weather fans into regulars

Looks like I'm in the East stand for a change

Just ordered ours online. West Stand nearly sold out now, we had to book in the East Stand. This game will be sold out by tomorrow night.

That's a good showing on day 1
Just hope all those who have loyally followed us all this season (and before that)

Should be a big party atmosphere although must admit I really want us to win this and keep our great run going.

West Stand only has a hand full of tickets left, no two seats together. East stand, middle three sections all but sold out. Looks like they have to open the South Stand to home fans by the morning.

It's a fantastic gesture and I'm really looking forward to seeing 10-11k in our stadium. What an atmosphere that will set up. (Batley probably won't be overawed as there were 15k at Headingley last week!)

As an aside, what are the VAT implications of free entry? Presumably HMC&E will expect 20% of say an 11k gate, irrespective of whether folk pay or get in free?

One thing that can and will is the moronic members of the north stand who still persist in that pathetic song. Parents of kids sat near us on Sat
were clearly embarrassed when the crowd began. I know a lot of loyal fans feel the same The north stand has been poor with useless aged songs. They are a long way behind the dire fans who occupied that stand at the cc semi final. They were louder and wittier.
That song was never part of the club history just some ****holes acting big hiding in the dark at the back of the old supporters stand.
