I was sat at work this morning at 5.00am, so I could leave in time to drive over from Sheffield. I for one will be enjoying an extra hour in bed and keeping my money in my pocket next time. That was disgraceful, we know 2 moves and are so easy to defend against. 5th place is a real possibility and I expect us to get bounced in the first round of the play offs.

Once again, we came up against a supposedly struggling team, who performed solidly up front, and came up with moments of inspiration at half back. Oh, and once again we were embarrassingly and spectacularly out-paced.

Still, thinking back to this time last season.................................!

Obviously the Dewsbury coaching staff sussed the ' run around ' move that got us 3 tries last week , and we had no variation to that move

They came with a strong defence and a couple of simple moves that they backed up with support at pace

We are now playing for 4 th instead of 2 nd , and Ian has to come up with a different game plan for toulouse or we could be playing away in the play offs from day one

Basically at best we are looking at home to the Eagles and then away to Barrow and then Fax or Fev to make a GF

No variation or any idea whatsoever in attack, we could have played for another fortnight and we'd have struggled to hit double figures.

Well done to Dewsbury though, take nowt away from them as it was a terrific performance, took their chances well and worked really hard in defence. Must admit I'm getting a bit bloody sick of being stood on the North Stand and finding myself applauding the good play of the opposition rather than Leyth!

Why oh why didn't we try some chips over when there was nothing to loose in the second half instead of the same old same old !!!!!!the only thing that we tried was a short kick off but that didn't come off ,at least it was different ,other teams can read us like a book ,a very boring one at that

Have to admit totally puzzled with that performance after last week. At the end of the game the majority of the players had given everything

. I know Smith got injured and Nanyn didn't look fit, but we did have several breaks in the 2nd half. Too much wasted ball and panic.

We put the ball to ground in try scoring positions about 6 or 7 times (at least). Had we got on the board early in the first half may have ben a different game but it doesn't excuse the paper thin defence again.

The completion rate must be way down,i know Nanyn was not fully fit but the mistakes he made were nothing to do with his strapped leg,to drop the ball over the line is bad but he wasn't the only one to knock on it happened a few times

You leigh lot beat a very dodgy widnes team and suddenly you are world beaters. You will definitely drop points again in your last few games.


Hate to say i told you so, and i also believe you will drop more points in your last two fixtures.

Maurice can i just say every team has its ups and downs but to give your season ticket away is a bit rash do you not think your team needs your support most now? and what happened to giving the opposition some credit?

Wot puzzles me is why Millward decided to use Nash & Morrison in the reserves the other day knowing that Emmitt was very unlikely to be available today which due to playing for stains yesterday he wasn't

they both played well against the chemics so one should of played today instead of using Taylor as prop through parts of the game.

See where your coming from and yes Dewsbury played great today but we know that Leigh are much better than what was on display today so can understand the posts ,i will not be giving my ticket away as i shall support them to the end as i did last season even though i feel very dejected at the moment

Dewsbury didn't play great!! We were utter tripe.Some of these lads must know that they aren't being retained. That's the only explanation that I can come up with for that garbage.We are just Warrington's feeder club now. They are taking the pi$$ out of us supporters and sponsors. I am not supporting a feeder club. i have cancelled our sponsorship and corporate club membership. I have had enough after almost 50 years.

Well done wysiwyg thats the spirit that is really going to help the club, i cant believe the complete and utter tripe im hearing on this forum, it is one defeat not the end of the world, how can you sit and watch leigh all last year get stuffed week in week out and carry on going but a defeat against dewsbury and you pack it all in?GET A GRIP!

I'm not cancelling anything, miust say though being a Leigh fan we get used to being let down, must just be the final time for some people. But all i can say is for all of us who will be going to the Toulouse game and Sheffield away, lets get behind the lads, we know they are better than that, the lads know they are better and I'll go on record and say that i think there'll be a very convincing win, either points wise, or win with a huge effort against Toulouse, I have faith in the lads and basil,come on guys, business end of the season, anything can happen.

Sir Harold I hope you enjoy supporting Warringtons feeder club. I will not support a feeder club and that is what we are slowly becoming via the back door. Why were the Wire lads played when it is obvious that they aren't interested. I would rather watch Higson, Meekin and Morty. Lads who are proud to play for Leigh. I do a small amount of sponsorship which we can hardly afford and I do it because I love Leigh RLFC but I will not sponsor Warrington RLFC "A" team which is what we are becoming. You must be joking itsatry. We were just rubbish. Fev, Fax, Barrow, Leigh (last week) would have put 50 past them. Leigh Miners would have beaten us today. We were clueless and how do you go from a top class performance like last week to that garbage in a week??? Something is wrong somewhere.

Yes we played well last week but i dare say that the Widnes fans will be saying it was because they were rubbish and not that we were very good .Dewsbury always put up a good fight ,they have plenty of bonus points to prove it ,i'm as angry and annoyed as the next person with todays play and if we had completed our sets then i'm sure it would have been a different scoreline
