Can some one tell me is their any truth in the rumour on the street Neil Dukes has been made full time assistant coach I had trouble with PR being full time as I could never find why a club needed a full time coach to coach a part time team or maybe I don't understand why it will now take 2 coaches
Or maybe the rumour on the street is wrong
Coaching is much more than turning up to training on a Tuesday and Thursday and on a match day.
I would expect it takes a lot of planning and preparation.
In terms of Neil, he probably has a more important role than Paul on a match day, delivering clear messages and communicating accurately with the players in the heat of the battle.
Having the two of them working full time means there are two heads to put together to work towards the right result on a Sunday. As they say knowledge is power. Leigh have two coaches full of knowledge working full time for the club. Surely can't be a bad thing?
With the prospect of soooopa leagues 1 and 2 looming and the financial rewards this will bring,i think its a great move. After all two heads are better than one!A forward looking move bY the BOM.Good luck Neil
