Trevor has asked me to post giving you all an update and to specifically thank everyone for their continued support and patience. The effort put in by so many people and the help offered by everyone really is humbling. Leeds, Warrington and Featherstone have been great and the Fev chief exec was over the moon when Trevor phoned him to thank him again for the £170 his shirt raised.
It has been 14 days since we opened the eBay account and in that time we have sales of £778.78 with more coming in daily. We have more stock to list as well as 4 bags of donated goodies to get through. We also have a signed England shirt on the way. The Wire shirt raised over £70 and the Leeds shirt is already at that amount.
The Paypal account, which is made up of eBay money and donations is currently at £1090.20.
I suspect no one is more frustrated than Trevor that he can't wave a magic wand with the Inland Revenue etc but these things take time. In the meantime we need to carry on building a good base for the future.
As a thought would you all please consider adding a link to the eBay listings in your signatures, Facebook profiles etc? You should be able to copy the onw below.
