Can't argue about Batley's defence S-L , but Leigh made it easy for them by being so one dimensional and predicable.

Batley were the better team. I wish them well in the final, a pair of decent halfbacks, some finishing power from the likes of Maun and some good grunt players, plus they wanted it more.

But after the "we were tired" stuff after losing to us and "too many players out - it'll be different thursday" mantra coming out after your defeat v Batley on SUnday, I can see why Spener might just be waiting for this weeks excuse.
