Hi everyone
To coincide with the club’s heritage week (actually, it’s just an accidental coincidence!), I’ve just updated my website to make public for the first time my archive of pre-war Wire programmes. This consists of nearly 1,000 images of over 300 programmes. Enjoy

Very interesting to take time and read some of these pages, I especially liked the story of the man who apparently swam from Latchford Locks to Blackpool and then took part in game of bowls.
Crowd trouble in 1921 after a cup tie at the Boulevard, Warrington V Widnes in cup tie on a Monday in October kick off 3.15 pm! Must have been rearranged for Egbert Hemmings to cover the match through the medium of black and white pencil drawings.
