No apology from you at all. We've underperformed, been outcoached, broken players in training, suffered more off the field hamstring injuries than I can ever remember, and the suits that don't have a hands on role have ducked under the parapet for 6 months.

It needs more than a "refresh" Mr Broomhead, it needs a full re-think from top to bottom to stop the rot that's been setting in for years and you, you potato faced gobe are part of the problem.

I literally got halfway through reading the article before I got so infuriated that I had to stop.. The guy is absolutely deluded if he thinks we can take 1 positive from this joke of a season!!
The most annoying part is how condescending he is, he seem to come across as thinking it's us who have the problem.! I also saw his Tweet after the Wigan game where he seemed to have a dig at the Wire fans that didn't travel there!

Against better judgement I've read the article. I strongly advise if you've not read it yet, don't.

Broomhead has enjoyed a few years of turning up and enjoying booze and prawn barms in the grandstand. A bit of pressure this year and he has become irritable and uninterested.

Forgive me, when did we last win a major honour - 2012? That's a long cycle.

Funny how these cycles don't seem to affect Wigan, Leeds or Saints to the same extent. Nor do they trot out such failure statements. Mind you they have ambition and success in their DNA.

He is just another in a line of club officials that are being wheeled out to read or recite a pre-written statement to try and appease the fans. What the club don't realise is that there are many fans who are fed up with the club.

I believe that the club have forgotten that at the end of this season its 5 years since our last major honour in the game. Yes the hub cap was won, but that is a window dressing item.

All the recent finals are statistics at best. Since 2012 the squad has been left to crumble in terms of talent with the odd good signing and the odd step up from the ranks, but on the whole recruitment has been poor at best.

The Broomhead article really does show that the club are so far off the mark when it comes to the fans. The arrogance of the coaching staff is becoming not only unbearable for the fans but a joke among other clubs.

Broomhead, Smith and Agar should be put in stocks at Market Gate and pelted for the performance over recent seasons and reminded that winning counts and nothing else.

Using 2010 as a baseline - what's he talking about? It's 2017 that matters!

The Toronto comments were an odd thing to add at the end. To me it all signals a rudderless organisation who frankly don't have a clue how to dig us out of our current hole.

I hope I'm wrong but the evidence so far isn't encouraging. It still irritates me that Saints were only a point ahead of us when they triggered KC - they're now being talked about at as a reasonable bet for the GF. Looking at the Widnes side with Chase, Bridge, Hanbury back and playing at home - I'm not sure we're mentally tough enough to take a defeat. I think the wheels will come off. The Chairmen is just there to wine and dine the 3rd parties who hold the money. It's misguided comments more than anything, but has done much for the club. Issue is, it should be the CEO who is the face of the club and nothing from him since Karoke gate. .
