I heard that the BBC were due to show some matches live on TV - maybe red button, or online.
I can't seem to find any reference to it since I heard it.

Anybody else aware of this / know anything?

Super League is Sky's baby. They bought the rights. Only they will show live SL games. I don't see many Premier League games being shown live on the BBC/ITV. Likewise golf, boxing, tennis, etc.

Isn't the women's football called super league ? That would not surprise me.

Mon - Super League Show (BBC1 Northern regions)

Tue - Super League Show (BBC2 "National"icon_wink.gif

Tue - CC 3rd Round Draw streamed live

Plus match commentaries on 5 Live Sports Extra, in additional to any other BBC Radio regional coverage.

The 'Superleague' that's going to be shown by the BBC is the women's football superleague !! Oh well!!

Side thought on this (but Im sure the legal boffins will have closed it) as a potential loophole. One of the reasons for the hubcap not being presented at the playoff semifinal was that the hubcap is the prize for SuperLeague, and the playoffs and Grand Final are not SuperLeague events. Could somebody bid just for those two games if Sky has the rights to broadcast "SuperLeague"
