| You're doing it all wrong. Every player should have their own post match thread setting out how bad they are. I can only see one this week, tsk.

| might be a short thread. i am actually quite happy, defence mostly sorted, let us see if Tony can sort the attacking options this week. Myler and Atkins must be surely on the edge of being dropped now with Monas not far behind.

| I was fairly happy with Myler.
I wouldn't drop him.
He actually tackled very well.

| Yes everyone needs to tackle, but he could be doing more with the ball in hand although he got better towards the end when we started playing with the ball a bits the tactics tonight were to go down the middle and shore up the defence and we did that well

| Sporting life journalist must have been watching a different game! Apparently the scoreline flattered Warrington. Plus Asotasi and England stood out for Wire! No disrespect to either as they both performed well but not the best! Much improved performance from Wire but plenty of room for improvement! There are two players on borrowed time and I'm sure Smith knows who. Overall great response from last week. Keep raising the bar and we will be there or there abouts when it counts! However need to axe other players rather than the usual scapegoats!

In week 2 having played saints at home and Leeds away. Oh no let's give up now. Plenty of teams will be beaten at home by saints and away at Leeds and every team will have a bad game like we did against saints I am sure we will have a few more yet but if we manage to find our feet, finish 4th or 5th and then win at old Trafford then that would be fine by me.

| Q: What do John Woods, Andy Gregory, Andrew Johns, Allan Langer, Phil Blake & Lee Briers have in common?
A: They all played halfback, none of them were noted for their defence, none of them were expected to defend habitually and none of them considered being a defensive player a key part of their make-up or job description. They were there to orchestrate attack and dismantle the opposition defence which they all did with aplomb, and with energy saved from letting other people do the donkey work.
Comments like "Myler did a lot of tackling" are simply excusing his failings in attack.

| I have the strangest feeling we will win one trophy this year for sure. I think Smith will rise to the challenge of sorting our team out.

| Seeing as this is the negative thread.
Asotasi still hasn't shown enough in which I can justifiably say he was worth bringing in OVER Carvell and Morley.
He's not been bad but i think he's weaker than both Gaz and Moz.
Still slightly disturbed at his comments about this being a bit of a holiday, 100% committed or look for your pay cheque elsewhere

Asotasi looks more like a 2nd row to me, to be honest. He played ok, but he certainly doesn't look to be as damaging a runner as Chris Hill, for example. Also, has anyone noticed how few offloads we've been doing so far? I know Harrison and Carvell were two leading exponents but we appear to be playing under orders to keep it conservative, which is at odds with our usual ethos.

| Asotasi defo prob morrisseyisawire.
He aint dynamic enough as a backrower.
He was solid. Without starring. I think both sets of props equalled themselves out tonight.
I would guess they all put in around the same amount of tackling and yardages.
I've said before that I think Leeds ate the best team in the comp this year. Good effort from our pack and I expect to see them dominant other teams and see Asotasi looking more mobile.

| If we didn't have Atkins making all those mistakes and Leeds didnt have Jamie peacock doing all those tackles we'd have won. I'm not as doom mongered as I was last week.
We had plenty of possession on the Leeds line more than they had on ours I thought.
dissapointed in Myler, O'Brien was superb. the props were ok, no standouts and they pretty much matched the Leeds pack imo.
Obviously Atkins stunk like an open sewer that's my only bit of doom.
