With his recent performances he must be getting close to being the first on the teamsheet. Only problem for TS is where to play him. Tremendously gifted utility player and his kick for Saturday's last try was as good as anything Lee Briers could produce. Would you keep him at i/change hooker when Mick Monaghan returns or move him into the back row again?

I was commenting in similiar vein on Saturday, it's no coincidence that our poorest spell was while Grix was off the field. He is a very clever footballer and plays in a similiar way to Monaghan by running along the line instead of continual scoots. Maybe he has found his best position though he's good enough to play more than one.

I said a few weeks ago that Grixy is one of the most gifted players we have. He has gone under the radar for the past few years due to some horrendous luck with injuries.

His form towards the back end of last season and in particular this season makes him a very valuable member of the squad and I'm certain that he would be in the first choice 17 every single week.

He will be up there challenging for Player of the Year without a doubt if he continues performing as he has done.

Probably the most under rated player in SL.

i've loved him since his stint at centre, in 2009, when he was teh dogs danglies. he's a model pro.

More importantly, Grix would be my first name on the teamsheet. I'd go further and say that he's probably the cleverest option as deputy hooker to Roby for England. Queue sundry Pies clamouring for McIlorum.....................

Grix should be an England squad member, he provides a utility value matched by no other player in SL.

Always love watching Grix with his clever feet and hands. Keep him in the hooker role and he can get more involved in the game.

Think it was Barrie Mac in his commentry on Saturday saying what a talent this Lad is,he can play at centre,Stand off,Loose or Second row a great all round player!

Loved it when he scooted away and put young Currie over for his try Easy Peasy thats what you should be doing for Widnes Jon Clarke..

Grix is quality wherever he plays and to say he's a pro doesnt come close he just gets his head around the position and goes for it.

Grat player for WIRE and a very important cog in the machine.

Keep him in the 17 regardless of who's in the team and whatever position we need him in he will do the job for us every time.
