I do find it slightly strange that Higham has been excluded from recent squads in favour of Jon Clarke.

Not because I think Higham is the better player but just because Higham is contracted next year whilst Clarke is leaving for Widnes.

Now im no expert but surely you would want to keep the player you are keeping next year happy especially over someone who is departing for pastures new.

Smith gave Mickey his new deal last year and has also decided to release Clarke at the end of this year but his recent team selections seem to suggest he has got it wrong. Unless of course Mickey is also leaving at the end of this year.

Im confused

The last few matches have been against physical packs, with a lot of our pack sat injured on the sidelines. Clarke can easily cover most pack positions, whereas Higham can't. Makes perfect sense to bring in Clarke for those games.

Watched him today and he was very poor. Constantly dropping the ball.

King isn't playing next year, i'd drop him and play Rhys Williams, you know, to keep him happy like, it's sooo important to keep players happy, we wouldn't want Williams being unhappy and leaving for union or Wigan, drop King play Williams.

I find it srange that the vastly superior Wigan team finished below us in the league, even though it's plain to see they are streets ahead of us in terms of quality ... Dont you agree Colin ???

If Rhys can't be happy in a team which is winning silverware (for the past 3 seasons) even if he isn't playing every week, then he is welcome to leave to a lessor team

Micky was average yesterday, that's being very positive! He paled into insignificance in an under 20's game. He has a major issue with passing whilst moving, he got at the Cas markers a few times but his passes are off the mark, I can remember at least two 'bounce passes' yesterday, in a low intensity game (by his experience standards) He hasn't impressed me for a long while, and, for what it's worth, I prefer Clarke
