Watching the Huddersfield vs Leeds match and a thought has occured to me.

We have to make the Club Call immediately after the Wigan vs Catalans match.
What if that game is littered with brawls, incidents on report and is an all-round nasty match?
We could choose Hudds/Leeds and then find out that the winners of the Wigan/Catalans match have half a dozen players up before the disciplinary.
That would surely be a huge part of the decision-making process.

And yes, I realise that if the whole Wigan team were called before the Disciplinary there still wouldn't be a single ban!
I'm sure you'll understand the point I'm attempting to make.

I think TS will just pick the lowest ranked team from the final table.

It would be an insult otherwise.

Warrington will pick Leeds.

If Wigan win they will send them to Saints for a nice punch up.

If catalan win, they will be a force to be reckoned with. Leeds are a known quantity for Warrington, they will bring plenty of fans on the commercial side and when picking between 5th and 6th from first, there is no real insult.

As I put on the Leeds board, saying Leeds have great form looks to be true last 6 games of the season won. But apart from the last match of the season against Huddersfield who had nothing to gain all the other matches were against teams who finished in the bottom half of the table.

Not in Super League, no.

For the first time this year, the club call system has been used in the under 20s and Wigan picked the higher ranked of the two sides.
