Heard a vicious rumour today about god himself leaving to go back to Leeds at the end of the season, i for one just hope there is nothing in it.

Anyone else heard anything?

great, well i'm being serious, this is a rumour that i've heard more than once today so was asking to see if anyone else has heard anything as well

i know he signed a deal not long ago, but if they paid us a fee it wouldn't be unimaginable, i'm sure leeds would be keen on replacing hardface with God.

Why would he want to take a step backwards?

He loves a challenge, if we were to win the GF ths season, I'd be worried that he might start to look for something else to challenge him !!!!!

Ive heard a similar rumour with James Lowes coming in the opposite direction as head coach.

that has just made the thought of it so much worse, if he were to go i would hate to replace him with lowes.

I don't like to join in something that is obviously just pure rumour, but even if Smith was to leave, do you really think we'd replace him with Lowes??...



The one thing that Simon Moran will have definitely learned in the last 5 or 6 years, is the invaluable need for a quality coach....You can sign all the top-notch players you want, but put them in the hands of a numpty and you will forever under-acheive.

Smith has been excellent, but if he was to leave, I'm sure Mr Moran would make sure he was replaced by an adequately qualified coach.
