As a non Wigan fan I think you have to admire his honesty on that one. Graham Lovett certainly tried to pin him down on it didn't he but you can't fault someone for thinking about family back home, especially with a new kid on the way.

Little tell tale signs, when asked about his future always looks away, slight squirms, has done for a while.

Similar to Brett Hart leaving WWF, it works for both. We have Monas' new contract and an small army of back up wingers. Atkins, Riley, Evans, Monas, Blythe (:winkicon_smile.gif, Williams, Bridge and even Grix, can all play in the line. He is world class but we won't crumble without him. I am sure he has other goals and wants to focus on his kid with his family.

he is leaving i spoke to him myself few months ago and asked him if he was staying or going back to Aus he said going back when his contract is up !
he said he has loved his time here but his wife is homesick and wants to go back and he was happy he had achieved what he wanted but would be good if he could win the grand Final in his last season !

i for one will not be too fussed about kingy going back if he does, he's been a good servant, but everyone leaves.

I was doing the maths and dont Warrington have to lose an overseas player next year. Hodgson still has another year, Joel has just signed for three..... To me that means that King WILL be going back to Aus

is it such a bad thing? we are doing well without him, we have evans coming up and he gets better every week plus it free's up a visa spot which could come in handy plus with atkins also waiting in the wings there will be talent wasted as rhys williams is also a fairly talented player

Players come and go he will be a massive loss whenever he goes. It will free up a lot of the salary cap though.

I think it is staying at 5 for some time now.

We have 5 with king (Solo doesn't count) and then we'll have four.

I'd like King to stay, I think we'd struggle to get a better replacement. I'm not sure we've actually given him enough credit for his last 18 months with us, since about the CC QF in 2009, he's been immense.

He doesn't half take the burden of the forwards and he's improved his attacking threat both for himself and his winger tenfold.

It should just be 5 overseas no loopholes end of. Hopefully that will be the case after 2011.
