Can any Warrington fans help me out please
I went to the Cup Final and had a great day
but got home to find my recording of the match had failed
does anyone have a dvd or vhs copy of the bbc's final coverage that could pass on to me
I know I could get the official dvd in a few weeks but that wont contain the prematch and
and post match broadcasts.
I know its a lot to ask, but if you can help I'd be most greatful

If last years DVD is anything to go by, there were a few post match interviews on that.

MP...there will be very little on the BBC post match as they cut away from BBC1 to "the red button" just as Moz went to give his lad a hug.

Will it now still be on iPlayer?

peckerwoood - I will probably wait for the dvd and that will suffice, just annoyed my recording failed after keeping all the other televised cup games.
mikej - know youre right about network coverage, just thought someone might have recorded the red button footage
74 - The bbc i player showed the full programme for one week after the final and got to see it once
which was a good thing

Ive got red button before and after from freeview. Did the main game via Virgin HD and what with F1 running late. It ment that out of my bit I missed the lifting of the cup.

Otherwise I would have complied you a version.

Can Pre order the match on DVD at Play.com for £8.99 for release on 27th Sept.

Thought we might have had a blu-ray version - the HD presentation is stunning in quality, keeping it on sky+ til I can afford a blu-ray recorder

Can you export the file onto an external hard drive?

Only by complicated procedure - I will just keep it on the Sky+ box until I get fed up of it !!!

Box is 75% full of old Wire games, must start to copy to DVD soon !!

Have you come across a way to get HD content from a Sky HD box to a Bluray recorder without losing image quality ? If so let us in on the secret



I use a couple of AV forums from time to time, nobody has come across a way yet to get HD content from a Sky HD box to another external source without loss of quality.

Their are no bluray recorders that have an HDMI input and its not going to happen in the near future, you can get a recording onto another hard drive no problem but it won't be in its original HD quality.
