the thing ive noticed about Hicks is that when he recieves the ball and cuts inside unlike most most other wingers who do it just to stay in touch, Hicks so many times when he cuts inside either scores or breaks tackles and makes massive yards....

I've said it before, he's the best finisher in Super League.

He's proved a lot of doubters wrong when he signed. I remember a few people questioning that when Cullen picked him up from Manly.

Got to say I was a doubter (because of his age and I hadn't heard of him), but I'm pleased to say he's been a massive asset and the most consistent of the 3 Aussies we signed at the time.

He's a real professional and never takes chances when returning the ball - very very rarely passing to the full back but bringing it infield when returning the ball - even if he doesn't make yards we don't lose out.

He's been consistent since he signed, he nearly always beats the first tackle with great foot work and it's this that makes him so dangerous. The cut to the inside on Saturday was done to perfection 'cos his centre Matt King's running lines and timing of the pass were spot on giving Chris the space to work his magic..........awesome all round.

Totally agree with the above and would like to add that he is a genuine nice guy too. Seemed to really enjoy himself on Saturday and openly appeciates the fans. Good on you Spider!

Oh come on, on the previous forum on the Warrington Wolves website many people were questioning the signing of such an old unknown, and even that he had weight issues based his first photo in a Wires shirt, and would therefore be too slow.
