i personally think tony smith should be considering resting monas for this weeks game against cas, he is probabaly our most important player right now but with clarkey back i think ts should take the gamble with wigan the week after. it`s a risk ts should take imo.

Cas have won 4 on the bounce and although they are not exactly a top 4 threat, this is probably not the best week to rest players imo.

I'd be worried about Higham having more game time because of it and the consequences of that.

i think we will still be too much for them at home. higham is great imo and clarkey is just as good.

Higham's a good player, but he's not even on the same planet as Monaghan in terms of what he provides to the team overall. That's the issue.

Thought Benny Westwood had a poor game by his high standards. If anyone is due a rest it's him.

He shouldnt be rested, he isnt a player that needs a rest. Your big forwards need a rest, Benny i could see sense in resting, but your current star player, no way. No logic whatsoever, why risk breaking up his form????? He doesnt look tired, if anything give him MAYBE an extra 10 mins on the bench, but his name HAS to be on that teamsheet.

We won't rest anyone this week, least of all Monaghan. Rumour has it that Micky Higham has a broken thumb, which will mean that either V. Anderson will cover Monas or Jon Clarke will return one week ahead of schedule.

rest monas start clarke as he would be useless of the bench (not an impact hooker) higham come off the bench as he is an impact hooker running at people. im just worried that clarke will come in then all we going to see is slow play off the ball. at least with higham we play quick rugby.

All this is now irrelevant due to Higham being out.

Out for 6 weeks. Bring on the Clarke baiters.

Pedestrian and hugely predictable play the balls. Lack of general creation, and surpassed by both other 9's in the support department. Boosts his tackle stats by 3rd man in flop. But that's my view, I like the Wire team best with Monas and Higham.

I prefer Monas and Higham as the prefered 9s. But I don't get all this Clarke bashing. He's very predictable yeah but is a good tidy hooker who does his job sufficently. He is also versatille and has been a very good servant to the club. The lad also takes credit from me for coming back and coming back from injuires.

end of the day clarke has been a great servant for warrington no arguement about that. but he just slows the play of the ball down so much and normally just gets our forwards in quite alot of trouble as he is so predictable
