Think I said at the weekend, time for Myler to step up now. So far he has been a little quiet IMO. Now he has the perfect opportunity to prove his worth.

Without Briers and potentially Bridge, out of the three pivotal positions I'd go for;

BTW is Clarke injured or is he just being dropped?

Whats the news on Hicks ? Is he likely to play at the weekend

Are you sniffing glue? Monaghan on the bench?

With Briers out, he should do 80 minutes and be given the role of general. I'd put Grix with Myler, so he can cover Monaghan when he chooses to link with Myler when within striking range.

Micky Higham is awful, he's not a player who should be playing for Warrington, let alone consigning Monaghan to the bench.

This might be an odd way to look at it but it may be a good thing over the course of the season. It was fairly obvious from the game on Saturday that immediately after Briers went off the team was lost, but over the next half hour or so started to find their feet. It could well be that they will need to manage without Briers at crucial times during the season. Better they get 'plan B' working early rather than hoping it would come together at the business end of the season.

Can see you reason but tbh i'd rather have the points in the bag now!
Hopefully it isn't an injury that keeps him out too long.

this would be my team, i think penny may have to play to avoid re shuffling the pack and playing monaghan out of position but it may help us cope with the pace of cudjoe

i saw bridge walking into the gym yesterday, unaided and with no visible limp... so it cant be that bad... he had a nice black eye though.

Hopefully Briers has just turned an ankle and will miss a couple of weeks and if its true that Bridge was walking unaided without any limp yesterday then im sure he will be just fine and will probably play this weekend.

Monaghan has to be kept at hooker and like someone else has said it should be grix in to replace briers. That would mean only one change and grix is more than capable in my opinion.

if bridge is inured aswell then it time for people to step up and put a claim for there place great oppurtunity for grix and penny if gets chosen if bridge is out. both class players but if we gonna be challenging for trophies at the end we need to play and win without briers

Must admit I would prefer to see King at right centre and get some pace on the wing be it Penny or Hicks

we have to learn to adapt without Briers and cope with any adversity that's thrown at us, injuries or otherwise

can't see Briers playing this weekend (what's the point a half fit player) and if Smith is sensible (and he is) should rest Bridge as a precaution

we have a tall order this weekend against Hudds but that adds to the excitement of the fixture
