Didn't have a very good game today, few mistakes. Maybe just lack of practice.

No he is out of his depth now. Poor. As was Mathers.

To be honest I could only criticize Vinnie for 2 things - 1 was a stupid penalty and the other was talking back to the ref which cost us 2 points and at one stage that looked like it could be decisive in the match result.
Overall don't think he did anything special.

Mathers made one howler but apart from that was OK.

Bit harsh on Mathers Mark. Thought he was positioned well on several occasions and returned the ball strongly. Bad error, sure, but we all make mistakes.

Vinnie did seem to struggle, but again it was only one match. To describe him as out of his depth when only five or six matches ago he had a cracking Challenge Cup Final is a tad unfair.

It looked like V.Anderson was playing at hooker tonight for parts of the second half before Monas came back on. Did Higham pick up a knock?

Dont know who was worse Higham or V Anderson. Both have gone down the pan and need to raise their game considerably.

When Clarkey comes back Higham will be in the stiffs if he's not careful.

Mathers was OK, but he is prone to the odd mistake now and again. Vinnie needs to get some game time under his belt, looks a little off the pace.

He looked like a big of a liability tonight... Always though he is a bit of a passenger to be honest.

tear up his contract now IMO. didn't look atall interested.

V Anderson was pretty poor tonight. IMO i think he was just trying too hard to try and secure his place back in the 17 before Solomona gets back.

You should have listened to the Saints fans. We told you this would happen.

tbQh he's not done that much for us since he's signed from saints, he's a liability in my book, if i had the choice to get rid of anyone in that team it would be him. besides that i can't think of one player who didn't player well tonight. monas was quiet though.

higham had a good game one dropt ball ,that can happen to anyone ,he will have to watch out when clarkes back you sat pugdog what game you watching our kid ,think you need swap sports

Kingy and Mathers were excellent in my book.

benny . lee and you master were better in mine though.

Mathers is making errors like that far too often though.
It's hard to defend him. Last year there for me, Riley should have his place in future years

He makes too many of those similar type mistakes though, i was hoping it would be something that would fade away from his game, were only 2 games into this season and he`s already come up with a trademark howler, it will only be a matter of time before it costs us dear. Would you say he gives you confidence at the back that he will deal with kicks put his way ?

I`m not confident at all that he`s going to deal with any type of kick, it seems a lottery as to what the outcome will be. Yes he does a lot of things well, lots of enthusiasm etc but as a last line of defence he gives me no confidence at all.

Vinnie wasn't great tonight and he could've cost us the game. Still a useful player to have around the squad though if he can get his act together. Thought Mathers had a decent game aprt from the error. Problem you get with him is that he is always prone to that split second of brain freeze.

Vince was poor tonight, a couple of poor decisions, which he was visibly annoyed about. But I wouldn't go OTT.

Mathers came up with an error which in the end he got away with, poor conditions but even so, he was punished for it. Agian, don't go OTT, he was superb in game apart from that.

Personally i think both anderson brothers would be lucky to be in the side next week. i thought louis wasn't very good last week even though we did win and he was anonymous tonight.

Agreed - Louis was the only player you wouldn't have put in any MOM shortlist last week and appeared to do little of significance last night. He is still a work in progress for me but that can only last so long. For me, I would put Harrison at 11 with Tyke at 13 and use Louis off the bench for impact. Vinnie will be short of match fitness but came up with 2 silly errors that could have cost dear. Sol back on the bench for me next week.

Not sure why seems to be a few Louis bashing posts on this forum. I actually think louis brings a great dimension to the team, has good go forward and 2 solid displays for me.

My mate is a louis basher but admitted he is changing his mind when you see the metres he gains.

Mathers - yup he does frustrate at times with them howlers, hope it doesn't cost us one day against the likes of saints/wigan.

Vinnie - had a shocker, gave away silly pens and really poor game, BUT I'm not gonna write him off just yet. When fully fit and has more confidence could prove useful ala challenge cup final.

Liking myler, we've missed that type of player since we lost nathan wood (legend!)

I've already said above that Vinnie had a poor game, but it's very predictable that some of the ''fans'' are getting on his back. Let's face it, we don't have a Clarke, Barnett, Appo or Stevens in the team to have a go at!

For me, it's one poor game and that's it. All the rubbish talked about saying get rid etc. - people have very short memories. Look back to last year and see how his versatlility helped us.
