Question as above. Looking for a decent local pub to watch the Cas game (and others) on Sky with my lad who's 10. Really I was hoping to find somewhere thats properly ‘family friendly’ rather than just a pub that allows kids in.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance

Your best bet will be places that see themselves as a pub/restraunt. The Mascrat Manor which is by junction 21 for the M6 fits this bill and I'm pretty sure they have Sky Sports. Where abouts in Warrington do you live?

I wouldn't risk the mascrat manor, very unlikely they have sky. In fact, when i went in for a kids party they couldn't even put leeds v saints on and that was on bbc. LA bowl will have sky sports, won't it?

Why not just jump on the coach/drive it and treat your lad to a live away game. Better than any pub you could find and prob not much dearer imo

Crosfields Rugby Club have the Superleague on a big Screen every Thursday (Championship), Friday and Saturday, even Sunday when the games are switched around. No chance of football being on instead, Decent Beer prices and kids are welcome.

Have took my lad to a fair few away matches the last few seasons, but its difficult for us to get to the Sat night away games.

The Woodlands at Sankey, they've got telly's all over the show and 2 pool tables, no probs with kids and wherever you are (even at the bar) you can still see at least 2 screens.

wouldnt recommend the woodys in sankey, its full of scallys and coke heads!

Richmonds in downtown Latchford allows the younger supporters in and if they get fed up they can always play a match on the car park.............

That's true. If you go in you can't miss it. Don't take your lad there.

The Grappenhall Youth & Community Centre is a family friendly centre with large screen to watch the match if its not to far from your location.

Well impressed with Crosfields last night. Nice big screen so everyone got a good view. Nothing but 100% wires in there - possibly the best match time atmosphere I’ve ever seen outside a ground. Lots of families and no drunken tools that you felt you had to keep half an eye on. Credit to the guys and gals that run the place
