Ever since Phils best mate left (PC) he has had a major downer on the Wire. I Think Phil's dark horses will be Wigan, in fact i would bet on it  |

I'm not sure how big a loss Long will be. He wasn't with us much last season. He only really played well in the final, what, three matches? And then he had two sessions out injured, one for I think it was 8 weeks. The key question for us will be whether Kyle can boss the lads around the park. If he can do that then to be honest I don't think we'll miss Longy at all. |

To be honest i dont really care if we beat saints or not in the regular season, all i want is a good year with 17 or 18 wins to put us there or there abouts in the league so how we perform against all the others is just as important as beating saints....
ps. Personally i much prefer beating wigan, far BIGGER team an all that mate |

If we regularly beat them both I'd probably agree but in reality winning at Knowsley Road would be second only to winning the Challenge Cup in my list of highlights watching the Wire if we were to achieve it this year.
I don't mind admitting it - beating Saints would mean FAR more than any other regular season win we get. |
