| Just read this on the Guardian website
[url=http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/wolves/wolvesnews/4837036.Counting_down_to_even_more_excitement/Countdown Timer[/url
Just wished they would keep it on for Sky games as you can't see the clock on the big screen from most parts of the South Stand.

If they install countdown timers then I would expect them to be accurate. Total waste of time if the hooter blows with 10 seconds left on the clock or 30 seconds after it expires. Equally I expect the Sky timer to also be accurate as I believe it is controlled directly by the official timekeeper(s). So where is the conflict?

| You can't see the big screen at all from most parts of the South Stand and my regular spec in the West Stand doesn't have much of a view of it either.
It's only really clear from the North Stand and the north side of the East Stand, and considering the screen was a common part of RL before the HJ was built they really should have considered a better position for it in the initial structuring.

| But even though you can see the big screen at the HJ, you usually can't see the clock on it, because it's too low and people are standing in front of it.

| Nice idea, but I bet they install it in the south stand near the score board so we still wont be able to see it

I've e.mailed sky sports numerous times about this. Why do they put the clock at the bottom of the big screens but when you watch it at home the clock is at the top of the screen. I've never had a reply.

| I've always though that the best place for the screen would be in one of the corners, level with the corner of each stand in that corner.
Failing that, the big wall at the back of the West stand would afford all but a few a view of it.

| It'll be a good idea. I usually (sadly) run my stopwatch. It'll save me the trouble
