This ticketing for the four nations tournament is an absolute farce.
Some unlucky people have paid through the nose for tickets to games only for the RFL to start dishing them out for free in fear of having very poor attendances.
What they should have done to guarantee healthy crowds and also to be fair to everyone is have all tickets priced at £10-15.
The RFL sent me details of tickets for this tournament a few weeks back and quite honestly the cost of tickets was way more than I could afford and totally put me off from attending.
Whoever is responsible for ticketing for this tournament has got it totally wrong.

I think this game will sell out without free tickets being given out!! But i bet alot of free ones were given away for the France game.

someone on the wigan board said that 50 free tickets were sent out to a local amateur club last week.
personally ive seen plenty of free tickets being advertised for a number of these games.
maybe these tournaments are happening too often, maybe they should be every two years. |

| surely if these tickets are going to an amateur club then maybe kids will get to maybe see top class RL and then get into our great sport. 50 tickets is not that many out of 24,000 is it

I don't think £20 (£10 concessions) is overpriced at all.
Not when you are watching the best players in the world of Rugby League and when you consider it's £18 to stand at the likes of Wakefield and £21 to sit in a temporary stand at HKR for a Superleague game.

Exactly, I would rather pay the £35 for the best tickets for the game on saturday than pay £20 to go to Hull KR sitting in a temporary golf stand behind the sticks.... |
