Not sure, i thought it was going to be a reasonably comfortable win for us until i read somewhere on here that monaghan may be missing

We will proberbly come back and take the lead then hand it back to you in the last 10 minutes!

I have had a look at Castleford over recent weeks and picked out a few players i wouldn't mind seeing in a wire shirt if the oppertunity arose. How do people think these key battles will go over the match and who would you have from the Cas team.

Shenton vs Grix
Not seen a great deal of shenton so i can't comment. Grix was great in defence and a bit shakey up front last week IMO

Chase vs Clarke/Higham
Very impressed by Chase, seems to be able to find holes to run into regularly, possibly over played the ball last week, not sure about his defence. Clarke and Higham seem to be steady eddies at the moment. Very pleased with Clarke compared to how he stated the seasom

Sargent vs Morely
Sargent seems to be a cracking signing and i think he will be one to watch but any team that come up against wire the season are going to struggle to improve on Carvell and Morley

What are people thoughts?

To answer you question there, rangis defence is ver good for a little half back! never shirks a tackle and isnt scared about taking on the big guys, Quite strong for a little un aswell!

Out of the 3 battles i think Shenton will win the battle with grix, chase vs clarke and higham will be close and all depends on the pack infront of them, as for sargent the guy is class, may not have the reputation of morley or carvell but he is everybit as good as them and skills wise but i think he probably puts more work into the defencesive side than morley or carvell!!!

I think Wires will have to keep their guard up. Castleford can have those days when they pip you when it seems in the bag.

It should be a good one, can't wait for it.

I think he can defend, however his defensiv stats aren't great. He has a tackle success stat of 81%. He is 2nd highest on the missed tackle list.

Basically for every 5 tackles he attempts, he misses 1.

Depends how much last week has taken out of us, as to the margin of our win. If we're fresh, 30 plus win, if a little tired, win by eight.

There's a big primrose & blue tidal wave engulfing SL, that or a massive gravy train with biscuit wheels, hop on, it's awesome.

Salford sticks in my memory

Should beat Cas but the League is so unpredictable this year i wouldn't be surprised if we lose, I'm however staying confidant and think we should win with 6-10 points.

With all these fans coming out the woodwork and the big oh ah for Semi-Final tickets I'm fully expecting about 8,500 Wire fans

So you rate yourselves better than everbody except Saints who are the only side to beat us by more than 30? In fact we've only lost 3 by more than 8 and one of those was by 10 so you aren't half talking yourselves up. Still, when we're off we're really off so you never know.

I rememeber playing at Wheldon Road a couple of years ago and it was a total wash out with the rain, que hundreds of Warrington tops off and singing in the rain

I remember that. Wasnt that the time when we all got under the stand with all the Cas fans? Think it was the year they got relegated. Thats why Cas fans are one of the best around. They took a lot of stick that day. but still kept singing even though they knew they were going down and getting tonked. Remember them singing "The superleague is upside down" song

Yeah, the heavens opened and loads of Warrington ran into the covered bit but loads of us stayed in the rain singing. Was 3/4 years ago. Always a good crack at Castleford
