Not only that havin been at the game on friday evening, i watched it again on returning home,EVEN eddie and stevo are givin us big raps,like you say long may it continue.

However, it does make me laugh when Eddie & Stevo waffle on about Wire and their countless false dawns....Its usually those 2 berks who actually create each over-hyped dawn, and which get the overly optimistic Wire fans in a state of frenzied expectation.

I much prefer Tony Smith's quiet, laid-back, '1 game at a time' philosophy, thank you very much....

we've certainley turned a corner in regards finding the right man at the helm i believe it's a not case of if anymore it's more of a case of when imo not a decent coach in a long time

ste i`ve watched the wire for nearly 30 years and the best team i`ve seen was the 1986 premiership winning team with the great les boyd in charge..we have now the best coach in ts in charge who`s getting this lot to perform..and i`ll say it again he`s the best thing to happen at this club since 1986 for 5 reasons..
quins away we got walloped.look at us now 3 trys in 2 games(defence)
briers..playing out of his skin..who`d av thought that..
morale..different atmosphere within the club..
conduct...gleeson and reardon gone.mathers in..makes you wonder...
and finally us..not a bad word from the fans even a loss to hull kr at edinburgh..more positives than nagatives...no doubt theres more..long may it continue..get some more coaches booked for the semi...i can feel one coming on

I agree we have reasons to be optimistic, but an upturn in form after an abysmal start does not neccesarily mean trophies are on the way as you seem to be convinced.

dont think trophies are on any ones mind mate..just an up turn in form from the the thrashings to to present form..its gonna get anyone in a positive frame of mind...and we are allowed to dream...onwards and upwards

Here, Here Tony Smith has got the right ethos at the club and when he says he is taking it one game at a time you believe him unlike Lowes & Cullen.

to be fair to cullen he`s done a lot..it was him who came in and saved us from relegation and got us in play off games..ok no trophies but getting relegation who knows where we`d be now..respect the guy for at least that...hope the guy cracks it at widnes....

no i don't !makes me laugh even when people put positive posts on here there is always one to dampen the spirits if you're that sad and miserable (and it's not directed at you dean) go and sit in a dark room and let the rest of us sit in hope and anticipitation. I will have that Les, Not a dig at the fella I just think Smith has a good ambiance about him that rubs off onto the players with regards to his no pressure and each game at a time.
