cba starting a new thread for this but did any see rah trying to get himself subbed this afternoon in the second half, carvell had been walking the touchline for a while, rah's been walking forward slow, plodding back to the line, visibly knackered/ york were down in our twenty and the ball came loose and then rah booted it back to hicks i think, rah then sprinted faster than i'd ever seen him to the north stand touchline trying to come off, only to see they were subbing cooper, rah then plodded as slow as possibly back to the play with a nark on, took another 5 minutes to get him off.

Carvell brilliant after 5 games out injured and did 30 minutes in his first spell. Lets hope we can keep him fit for the full season. Him Morley, rau, Wood, Coops, Mitchell plus any other props i've missed the season looks bright.

Gareth Carvell was MOM by a galaxical mile! Running up the middle, gaining yards, never taking a backwards step. Would have been fantastic of him to get a try, but at least for once the sponsers got the MOM spot on.

Bridge is getting there but he was far from MOTM..
Carvell was excellent...Also thought Grix and Benny went well yesterday..

No but he will for the rest of the season along with the others I mentioned. I didn't imply Morley played yesterday.

there was no doubt carvell was brilliant considering it was his 1st match back, 10[10 for effort 3/10 for opposition, they never gave up but you could see the difference in fitness had a major impact in the forwards, salford will a tougher test on friday.
