Wow. Not sure what we need to do to get a bit of credit if four consecutive Grand Final wins and beating Penrith in their own back yard isn't enough. We were always going to start slowly given the WCC trip. Woolf only won one of his first five games too and he turned out okay. We might not win SL this season, but a bit early to be ruling us out too. The standard of SL has dropped every year since 1996 because of the impact of inflation and the cap not rising, but it's probably also the most equal SL competition there has ever been too. There are really only Wakefield and Cas as outliers who couldn't beat any of the other teams. Any of the rest could beat any of the other teams on any given day.

Re your first question, act a bit classier as a collective.

You're quick to complain about wire fans having a pop at you on matchdays, but your fans are the biggest instigators and takers, and then cry foul when you get a response.

Have some dignity, enjoy your domination with some class. People might respect you more.

Leeds won 6 grand finals between 2004-2012 and their players/fans always conducted themselves with class and dignity. It really isn't that hard to do.

If you never congratulate your opponents, you cannot expect it back. If you cannot condemn the behaviour of your own supporters when they step out of line, then you shouldn't condemn those of other clubs. Life's a two way street.

Case in point. We won the LLS in 2011 and Hudds unfurled a banner saying 'Well done wire'. You wouldn't get that for Saints because their fans show such lack of humility, grace in defeat and do that horrible sarcastic chanting when they finally take the lead in close games. Just a vile mob overall.

But you must realise success breeds jealousy. No one would have a problem with Saints fans if we weren't massively successful. Once Warrington break the glass ceiling and have a spell of dominance, do you not think your own fans will seem unbearable to fans of other clubs? There is absolutely zero difference between Saints and Warrington fans.

Wire fans are completely different to Saints. You wouldn’t put up with Wello taking 12 months to replace the 33+ players! Wello is dealt a poor hand. Much of the team is too old.

You can’t not argue that in terms of standard SL is the worst it’s been these last few years. Look at the Leeds team you beat in the final last year. Worst Leeds team of my lifetime and they made the final. Salford in the final a couple of years before. These last few years Warrington, Wigan and Leeds have all dropped off. Bring in a good coach like Woolf and you’d expect you to win it.

Nope, I grew up early 90s disliking saints fans, in my experience they were less bearable than Wigan fans in the same period, bad lovers and even worse winners.

I had no problems with Leeds and their golden generation, and they had a couple of my most disliked players in their teams, but their fans were always alright in my experience.

I've had more instances of saints fans trying to instigate trouble by being obnoxious than any other fan base. You can see it on redvee, twitter and on here there's no humility, I've seen a woman on twitch streaming, she's from London only started supporting saints during covid, she's as obnoxious as they come. You've got young fans that have grown up in it.

You should keep yourself humble and grounded and not permanently act like a bunch of nobs.

It's also not just the fans, look at McManus' behaviour after Wembley - absolutely pathetic. Redvee TV is comedy gold.

several thousand at headingley on the many occasions i've been there as an away fan. several thousand at wembley when we've played them there, never had any problems, however at neutral venues/events i've had saints fans having a pop at me for seeing me wearing something with a warrington badge on.

Not true. It was Twitter and it was clearly a joke. It got reported a lot of times, but I got a DM from Hicks himself telling me not to worry about it as he appreciated the humour. Twitter too didn't uphold the complaints either.
