You're right with that but the thing is all clubs copy each other wether you like it or not.

| Fair enough, but those songs are Celtic songs to me. I like Celtic a lot and I'm registered on the Green Brigade forum, but it feels a bit wrong singing altered versions.

| If i remember rightly didn't celtic rip off a few songs as well? Most of the new songs they have came from clubs across Europe and YNWA came from Liverpool.

| Probably, although you always associate any song with the first set of fans you hear singing it. I acknowledge that doesn't neccessarily mean they started it.
Versions of 'Oh Warrington Is Wonderful' are sung by countless sets of fans with their own town/city/area replacing Warrington and team replacing Wire, but to me it's a Warrington song.

| I've got an idea why don't you sing 'Barmy Army' whilst banging a drum. I mean it's not as if any other team sings it in rugby league or in any other sport for that matter. It'd be totally original and will get the fans going no problem!

I'll give it 5 minutes before someone posts the picture of those three nuggets pointing at 'WOLFS' spray-painted on the wall.

| on that point, does anyone on here, actually know, or can recall seeing those three from that picture EVER, at a game.
I dont claim to know every fans face on a matchday but over the course of twenty or so years there's familiar faces i've become accustomed to seeing home or away.
Those three, never, and bear in mind that pic os from 01/02 when crowds were down to about 4k or less.
I'm thinking about starting an appeal.

| I don't mind singing, join in myself. But can we please put an end to this 'we hate Rhinos'? It was sung near the end on Sunday.
It's so stupid, all the inflection is at the end, so when you here it on the TV, you can't tell the difference between it and 'We're Leeds Rhinos' I remember the play-off game last year when it sounded like there were 14,000 Leeds fans in the stadium. Can I personally start a campaign to not sing it at Wembley?

No it isn't and no we are not.
It's been the same for all the time I've been going, which is getting on for 30 years! Some games you get a great atmosphere because of the occasion, sometimes because of the quality of the game, sometimes it just happens for no apparent reason. Other games the atmosphere is very flat. It's always been like this, whatever the year, whatever the stadium.
Why are some so obsessed with what songs to sing? It's a rugby match not a choral group!
Lastly, we definitely don't need drums - I think we've been there, done that. It did serve a purpose at one time but no more, please.

| There's an old rugby song regarding Yogi Bear that can be adapted to suit out newest second rower Trent Waterhouse which would comically adapt his surname and change it to warehouse, whorehouse, fullhouse, ****house etc with connected hilarious adult activities.
I'm sure most of you know it so it'd be easy to pick up.
He has a wife called sasha, which would scan beautifully, but she may not see the funny side of a couple of thousand chanting it.

This.
Well said, Seb. As I've said before I go to watch the match, shout myself ho, and talk RL with friends and family. Singing doesn't make an atmosphere, noise does.
