One of the key factors/indicators to me of a players 'worth' is how the fans take to him. They want him to stay, he's a one club man and didn't want to face the Panthers playing for another club (he's on record saying this) he had a few offers from other NRL btw, so his only option was SL.
No doubt if he's signed for other clubs he'd be brilliant as for Hull FC's comments, they are the most one eyed supporters in rugby. They think Brett Seymour is going to rip up SL he used to play for Nulla (my adopted NRL team)and they were known for their defence not their attack, well put it this way even if he keeps off the pop he's a dependable half back not a formidable one.

He use to play for Ryland Sharks, opted for Saints because the Wires training schedule was pants, not my words but mentioned by other coaches around the service areas. Wire seem to be creating an o/30's squad must be in double figures for next season.

If i was a 13 year old half back i'd definitely sign for Saints, i'd have a starting spot in a game against Hull to look forward to this week.

Simple fact is that players of Morley's and Waterhouse's qualities usually look after themselves physically, which normally means they can have an extended career into their mid 30's.

As for the ageing side?....Well, we won't have an ageing King, instead we'll have young whipper snappers like Blythe and Evans fighting to take over his position.

This ageing argument is rubbish....Wire have never been in a better position squad-wise. We have a fantastic balance of experience and youth, the youth being blooded slowly but surely, and picking up valuable wisdom from those more 'wily' veterans in our side.

I certainly wouldnt have signed a 30 year old as the warrington chairman, given you have a fair few over thirties, but its a difficult market out there and at the very least youll have a quality player for 2/3/4 years.

Age aside, I'd have said Waterhouse was much the better player. If he's still in decent shape this will strengthen Wire in 2012, a good outcome for you I'd have thought.

My lad is said 13yr old half-back who has the 7 squad number for Warrington Service Area and is also the scrum-half for the Cheshire and North Lancashire RFU squads. He will be playing for Blackbrook next season so if St Helens want him on their service area I will have a look to see who offers the best future opportunity. It is a little disappointing to see the club not promoting from within but SL is a results business and supporters are not very patient!

No, much better than King, who let's face it, isn't one of the most talented players to wear the Green and Gold in recent years. They're swapping an allegedly world class player for a genuinely world class player (assuming he isn't past it).

My mate's younger brother moved from Warrington's scholarship to Saints'. He moved, basically, because they offered him an extra day of training and, what he deemed, a better and more determined route to the top. Your lad will probably take the same route unless things have changed. Saying that, my mate's brother had been there before Bastian arrived, and, whilst he liked Bastian, he was already half-set on moving.
