If that is to be believed then Warrington have given him an option after Castleford supposed buy back plea, on the bases that if he doesn't want to play for Wire then we won't make him.

It doesn't make sense though...its not how Warrington deal with transfers to and from a club still involved in a cup competition.
The longer this holds out the more likely Clarke is to play for Warrington as it follows form as Wire never officially comment.
There are a few exceptions, one notably was Mozza moving to Salford, it's thought he asked for that to be revealed. Probably because of the total professional he is so he could then put it to bed and concentrate on being a Wire.

And Koucash would spill the beans straight away.

What would this mean for Dwyer? It is only Monaghan retiring this year, isn't it? One Trick Mick has another year, doesn't he?

Presumably he knew about Clarke before he signed his extension (rumour has it Clarke was in the bag 12mths ago) so he must have been given some form of assurances about his future.......

Indeed. Higham will be 35 by the time his contract runs out at the end of 2015. That gives Dwyer the best part of 12 months to prove he is up to being the bench hooker for 2016.

Until the day he's stood in the stadium holding a Wire shirt with Clark 9 on it I'm sceptical.
Similar with Sims.

Saying that with Sims if we get him I'm hoping he can convince one of his brothers at a later date to follow preferably both at some point.
