Sandow has only got to show the form he had 2 weeks ago to be a huge hit ,I hope warrington isn't too much of a culture shock for him and people give him a chance

Imo the ban is ideal. Wouldn't want to rush him straight into action after all the stress he's been under lately. Gives him a good few weeks to get to know the team and settle in. By the time he's available all our remaining games could end up being virtually pointless so hopefully they would at least serve to at least get him firing within the squad and hit 2016 running...

If he uses his EGP it's 2 games ,so Cas and HKR ,that's fine ,get him settled and ready to play in super 8s ,perfect !!

If we sign him before Friday which we have to, then the Cas game and HKR game would count and he would be available for the first Super 8 game.

Yeah i agree, give himt time to settle in, train a bit with the lads and get sorted.

It's a shock to my system to comprehend how we have endured 2 seasons of mediocrity by our recent standard and then suddenly get hit with quality signings of Gidley Lineham and Sandow with sound rumour of another one or two!?

It comes across to me that SJM and the directors are taking care of business. Almost as if TS called the shots on the squad over the 2/3 seasons with the board fully backing him. As fans they have pulled rank, having had enough and faced the slump full on.!?

I'd be interested to know how much TS was involved in getting these big guns? Listening to him on local radio about Sandow, he came across almost disheartened by our link.

If I was told by my manager that I was free to leave, hounded by experts in my industry for not being 'good enough', surrounded by my team members and told I'm not wanted, then got a job in Australia and was told I have to sign and be over there in a week; I'd poop myself.

The ban is a blessing really, gives him time to sort his head out, settle in and get used to the lads over here.

Despite what he may have done/said, no one deserves the crud he's endured over the last couple of weeks.

He’s banned for the next two games, so has no influence on a) Getting us closer to the top 6 by maybe beating Cas, or b) By possibly helping us to maybe beating HKR to get to a Wembley final

Given where we are in the 8's, and should we make Wembley, he could be playing in meaningless end of season league games, with a squad that's going to radically change anyway,

Also again if we make Wembley, players that are still going to be here next season, may not be playing, as they're carrying knocks and are being rested for Wembley.

So learning structures and plays at this stage is fairly pointless in my book

Looking at the Sandow video clips it looks like he shows some real flashes of brilliance, but looks to be very individual in how he plays (similar to Jarred Sammut).
It's going to be interesting to see how he plays (if he joins). At this stage I'm not really sure whether he's really the answer.
I'm confident that if anyone can, TS can turn around the 'bad boy' image and bring out the best in him. He's a proven record there (either that or he'll get shipped out like Glesson). And if he can bring consistency to his game then that'll do me.

No different to when Danny Brough joined us he was knocked by everyone from anywhere.

However he's been a great acquisition for us and more or less settled down.

I would say you have more chance of settling Sandow than Rangi Chase in my opinion but RL signings are always a gamble for example if we signed Sinfield from Leeds could work probably not but coach's and owners have to take their best shot and take the plaudits if it's right and brickbats if it's wrong.

We the fans just want a winning team preferably that entertains maybe Sandow will be your Brough ??

I pretty sure if Brough was unsettled SJM would pull rank and sign him without TS having a say.
We missed out as TS was very vocal about his attitude back then.
I'd have broke the bank to get him from Hull. Briers time was numbered even then.
