| GO'B has now played 5 on the bounce for Salford, had he still been with us he would have been keeping Dec Patton out of the reserves. It was absolutely the right decision for both parties to let him go.
Ben Currie is one of the best back rowers in SL but has a long way to go before being world class - I think he has it in him though.
Typical Sad End, big up the Wire when his Saints are below expectations. He loves it.

| I hate to say it but Currie would be world class after a couple of seasons in the NRL.

| Quote ="Captain Hook"I think Currie is the first Wire Academy player for an age who has the potential to be more than just a decent SL player, and his showing on Thursday in the sense of not being intimidated is a step in the right direction.
I accept however that the risks of winding up these days are rather less than in the Boyd era.'"
Did Cooper not go through our Academy? I thought he was a local lad

| Quote ="Ron"Do you regularly watch the NRL? Those players could definitely get games in the NRL, Hill would even be a good NRL forward. But none of them would be a top 3-5 player for their position. Which is what I would class as world class, Walmsley got absolutely dominated by the Rooster forwards, whose best forward wasn't even playing.'"
Walmsley didn't get dominated. He still made good yards but he was on his own as the rest of the pack were poor.
Name the top 5 props in the world then.

| Hill is easily in the top five props in the world no matter what competition he is playing in.
Massively consistent and no weaknesses in his game whatsoever.

| I don't watch much NRL but surely Hill's footwork (the Salford game and last year's Saints game for example) and his ball handling is up there amongst the best of the world's props?
Not mentioning his tackling, carries and metres made.

| Hill would definitely get in most NRL teams as he has great footwork and energy compared to others who are just big.
