As ever, everyone who went enjoyed it immensely, but you still get a few weirdos who've never attended the event saying it should be scrapped.

On the fixtures, I agree that something needs to be done, but this is surely incompatible with the 'teams at the top play each other too often' argument? If you make it 1 v 2, 3 v 4, these are exactly the sorts of teams who are likely to meet each other again in semi finals, playoffs and finals.

I always enjoy the Magic Weekend however I would like to play Saints, Wigan or Leeds at a Magic Weekend, we've had Salford, Huddersfield, Hull KR and Widnes so no disrespect to those teams but we've not had a huge game.

They need to mix the teams up so each fixture is enticing and well attended, they did try it before with a random draw but that didn't work.

Leave it as it is,im old enough to remember the tough games in yesteryear with widnes,are we now saying we should e punished because we have progressed and they havn't??

Keep it as it is...Great stadium, nice and easy to get to, brilliant fan zone set up outside i think its a brilliant celebration of our great game..

Whats the problem? oh yes Wigan fans are bleating because we hammered Widnes...Something they did to every team every week in the 80's...
Was this bad for the game then?? Their answer "its not our fault everyone else is crap they just need to try harder"...

Widnes were a quality team and are now rebuilding they will get there and derbies will be competative again...I don't get the ultra critical Rugby League public sometimes and their wanting to change everything and complain about everything...

gutted for you..........so far its been a great magic weekend.with only one drubbing.a couple of normal everyday victories and some incredibly close games.probably going to finish on a mismatch when 2nd plays 6th trough.if people think we can fix fixtures to guarantee exciting games its madness.

Nice to see the ref evening it up a little bit. Wigan have completely lost their cool.

Great showing from Wigan, to end a game like that with just ten men is a great effort. Definitely the cream of SL so far this season.

One thing i will say is that the Magic Weekend was given a good 5 minutes of coverage on Friday morning's BBC Breakfast programme. Which is 5 minutes more coverage than usual

If Widnes recruit well as they appear to be going to, & get a good coach, & are top of the league next year they will still be our Derby will Wigan be complaining the. I think not. I loved hammering Widnes. I was at Wembley in 1975 & that still hurts.
