| Clarke had a great game tonight, his defence was simply amazing. He seemed to be involved in every tackle. Dwyer looked very dangerous when he came on. A real gutsy display tonight. The players should be really proud of that.
Also thoughts Westwood had a stormer. Loads of great displays... Special mention to ormsby who gets through so much work with the ball. He really takes pressure off the forwards and does a lot of the hard yards.

| Congratulations on your complete dominance of a team supposedly the most aggressive (=dirty) in SL.
Great win for you.

| Am eating a bit of humble pie.Did not see that coming although with us being so unpredictable I knew we was capable on the day.Good job I was short of funds as I might well have had a bet on the pies -8 on the handicap but why oh why can't we play with that intensity every match?

| Didn't think we were brilliant, Wigan were really poor. Doesn't make me any less happy with that though, excellent. George King putting Tautai on his booty, bootyful.

| Much better intensity and with our backs against the wall for form, injuries, top 8, underdogs for the game...that intensity was essential and won us the game.
Still not a great kicking game, some really poor last play execution (caught on the ball four times on the last tackle) especially in the second half. And we got a bit too caught up in the niggle later in the second half which wasted the end of some sets.
But so much better!

| We were by no means the finished article but that sort of intensity will win most super league matches this season. Big believer in seeing a young players potential in his first carry...take a bow Sam wilde..super Ben elect. Well done wire...chuffed.

| Great win I feel a bit ashamed that I had us down for another defeat.
May be it wasn't the slickest game you'll ever see, although it seemed that our error count was down tonight based on previous weeks, but, the intensity, commitment and perhaps most importantly the team spirit were fabulous. Our defence was back to its best a reminder of pre/early season optimism before John Kear's real deal curse.
That team chat that Ashton Sims reported seems to have done the trick, let's hope we can build from here NOW THE WIRE

| I went to HKR and watched a Warrington side that didnt look interested, tonight i saw passion. For what ever reason maybe it was that so called clear the air meeting they had its made a difference, as someone as said we were not absolute brilliant but we had passion and that as been missing for a long time.

| We all know they have the skills, that's why TS brings them here. Their attitude sometimes has us all wondering. If they can play with the commitment, intensity and passion of last night we have a good chance of success this year. Can't single anyone player they all played really well.

| That intensity will see us end the season well. It was very impressive... Also, how bad were Wigan? absolutely woeful.
Tautai made Asotasi look like Sam Burgess... what an absolute pudding... Those forwards of theirs are shocking.... I was very surprised at how poor they were. The only people that werent surprised are the wigan fans.
Also, i think we have found a side with worse half backs than us.

| I'm surprised there isn't really any mention on here of Myler's try. That was an exceptional piece of skill to dink the ball over Bowen like that, any of the big names from the NRL pull that off and everyone would be waxing lyrical about it.
Perhaps a little fortuitous but it still needed a very delicate touch to execute like that, one of the tries of the season so far imo.
You guys were great to watch last night. Controlled aggression, great ruck speed, some classic hooking play from Dwyer who is looking like a top prospect. I was also amazed at the yards that 19 year old kid Wilde was making. To be winning the collision and making additional yards like that at his age, against one of the top sides in the league, really does bode well for his future in the sport.

| Fabulous performance last night in terms of heart and intensity. Didn't really give us a hope beforehand though did tell mates that the Pie are capable of a poor performance and have only won away twice in 12 months. Everyone stood up in defence even tough our attack still lacked in areas and we had a few brainstorms particularly in the first half where we gifted the Pie the ball in our half.
Thought Wanes comments were laughable. He said the best team won but you need a strong referee when you come here and the game was very slow and they got away with it fair play to them. Is he for real.
Want to see that intensity every week.

It was the most obvious result of the weekend IMO. Wigan's away record is absolutely horrendous. The only wins they pick up are at places like Wakefield.
Their pack is so powerpuff they offer no opposition to anyone. They don't even stand up to the physical stuff anymore. Westwood and Sims were pumped up last night, expecting a big fight. Lots of chest banging, lots of aggression. Wigan didn't respond at all. If Sims had done what he'd done against any other side in pro RL there would have been a brawl. If Westwood did what he did to Larne Patrick, where he was just randomly bullying a Wigan forward long after the ball had gone, any other side would have been in there. Wigan just had nothing. It makes me wonder if there are real problems at Wigan behind the scenes. There are rumours of 'bad news' coming that the fans won't be happy with at all and the famous Wigan team spirit has just gone. Perhaps it's just the Grand Final fallout still, where Wigan know they can't behave like that anymore and have nothing else to fall back on? That or they are all hacked off with how much Sammy Boy will be earning next season.
Really wouldn't surprise me if the Wigan players are trying to get shut of Wane currently. Nothing there but professional players going through the motions.

Great intensity and commitment, but I would agree about Wigan being awful, they were beyond shocking. It was not just the dropped balls and errors, they were slinging the ball anywhere but to the next player. And they looked as though rigor mortis had set in for most of the first half - they only seemed to perk up in the second when it was too late.
If anyone watched that on TV instead of live btw, you missed a real treat as the South was buzzing. I don't remember having so much fun singing " your poop" at the West for a very long time.
